Is Dev a villian or a victim like Sonakshi? Is Dev bad person at heart? Is Dev's love and dedication for Sonakshi not true? Is Dev not a pure soul?
Yes, Dev is full of flaws, may be today he is not a gud husband. He is still having blind faith in his mother but he has scope of redemption. He has never been a casanova, it was potrayed initially over the episodes it was confirmed. He is stalker, he stalked noone else ever but Sonakshi bcoz her presence, her actions affects him.

Dev just needs one person who is neutral to make him understand how his blind faith in his mother has destroyed his life and his wife's life. Not bcoz Shaheer and Erica look gud together but bcoz Dev and Sonakshi are meant for each other, they can stay alone will never be happy with anyone else.
Bcoz if Dev doesnt learn right lessons it will failure of each and every gud man who is not able balance his life. Dev's journey and his redemption is kesson to many men in the society.

Undoubtedly devs love for sona is selfless but things would never get better if he does not stop looking at things from his mothers glasses

If she was considered as baby making machine by Dev then he would not have married her in first place .He would have broken his marriage with her .

I don't get why giving birth to a child is equated to baby making machine ..whether to have a baby or not depends on both man and women .Is giving birth seen as abusing women ?

To your second point , Dev is a self made man too infact he had a bad childhood compared to Sonakshi .He struggled hard to reach where he is today

I can say Dev loved Sonakshi more than she did ...if Dev was really an abusive husband then he would not have tried to balance between his mom and wife .He would be happy in his own world and would have let Sona handle everything.

Dev is one character which is not appreciated enough ...and Sonakshi is one blessed character who is t blamed .

If we see the story from beginning one can see Sonakshi made equal mistakes as Dev ...if Dev gave importance to Ishwari then Sona was no less she gave Bijoy the freedom to badmouthe her husband and control their married life .

If we say Bijoy was right about Dev and it was his concern then Ishwari had a point too when she said their love was not strong enough .Infact she was proved right when they separated 3 months after marriage .

For those calling Dev with names like stalker etc ..hypocrite and kidnapper words can be used for other Characters in the show but I would not go to that extent because circumstances has to kept in mind before passing judgement about others .If a father wanting to know about a child is called stalker then what would one call women keeping child away from father .

I am one among them who is ok if they don't end up together. every love story doesn't have a fairy tale ending .As long as they are not biased towards one character I am ok to see them seperate .For Dev , he doesn't need any other women in his life to complete him apart from his daughter.He would be happy as long as he is part of Soha's life ...I don't think him staying single all his life is a punishment for him .

well for those who say he was never a womanizer... its shown to audience... but as per other characters in the show he is a womanizer... why will Sona not believe what she saw... why shld she think mr ex hubby cld never do anything like that... he can never touch anyone but her bla bla... bullshit... will Dev accept Sona if she showed she had relationship with other guys earlier and now ready for new life with redemption...
