If Dev is forgiven because of his PURE Heart and LOVE - so are the many rapists and murderers who can justify that they are the victims of circumstances had bad and struggling childhood.
What use of loving sona - if you can't stand for her.

Everyone is flawed but when effects and hurt others - its considered a criminal act. The way Dev physically handled Sona in last episode - its not love but physical abuse.

This.

Past can be used to lessen the punishment, but that doesnt change the fact that a criminal is a criminal. Period. 😕

women can hold a man's collar ..that doesn't come under physical abuse but a man holding a women by her shoulder is compared to physical abuse ..if latter is physical abuse then let's add former to the list too

I am sad to see words like rapists, murderer being so casually used ...it's an insult to those women who go through this

CVs you got some new words for your upcoming dialogue..you guys are copy cats anyway and blindly use in your show ..please don't disappoint me by not using some new words

Dev looked very scared when Sona did that. Right ? 😕

Stalking and physical aggression and manhandling leads to acid attacks, rapes and eventually muders. If men are killed in the process or injured, it's called as self-defense by the women. There is a difference between action and reaction, leading and following. 😕

How is this acid attacks ,rapes related to the scene played yesterday ? Let's not deviate from the main topic ...unfortunately Sona did not hold his collar as a reaction ...there are many instances where she held his collar when she was angry ...like the scene before breakup ...or in hospital during breakup

Why can't we accept that in anger Sona gets physical too and if we can criticize Dev then one should do the same for Sonakshi.Playing women card when it's convenient does no good to the real women who face physical abuse and sexual harassment

Holding a collar is symbolic aggression but it doesn't cause physical pain. On the other hand - holding wrists tightly and twisting arms causes physical pain and is physical aggression.

I agree acid attacks rapes and murder is not in the show but you have not understood the point. The point has been that these actions can be justified by the accused - by playing a victim of circumstances and past sufferings.

If anyone doesn't see a difference in holding a collar and physically hurting, - fine - its a free world to have ones opinion and logic's.😃😃

Yeah Dev still can't get over Mom syndrome as you point out... and this is not about what HE feels. Its about what SHE feels.

Why assume Sona will not be happy without him? Yes - he was her first love - she loved him like crazy - it didn't work out. And she has Soha - so she didn't regret the relationship -- she wants to move on! And why NOT with someone more deserving?!

AND YES -- there are people who don't/can't balance family relationships... at some point that is HIS problem. Not Hers :)...

From her point of view ---- she cares for him - she has history with him. Doesn't mean she is in love or that he has changed... and that somehow if he ONLY had this person who could change him, she should go back?

I think Life is wonderful -- SHE should enjoy it.

Is Dev a villian or a victim like Sonakshi? Is Dev bad person at heart? Is Dev's love and dedication for Sonakshi not true? Is Dev not a pure soul?
Yes, Dev is full of flaws, may be today he is not a gud husband. He is still having blind faith in his mother but he has scope of redemption. He has never been a casanova, it was potrayed initially over the episodes it was confirmed. He is stalker, he stalked noone else ever but Sonakshi bcoz her presence, her actions affects him.

Dev just needs one person who is neutral to make him understand how his blind faith in his mother has destroyed his life and his wife's life. Not bcoz Shaheer and Erica look gud together but bcoz Dev and Sonakshi are meant for each other, they can stay alone will never be happy with anyone else.
Bcoz if Dev doesnt learn right lessons it will failure of each and every gud man who is not able balance his life. Dev's journey and his redemption is kesson to many men in the society.

We loved the characters that were set up for us 7 years ago --- to see NO character development even if he has stopped "worshipping" his mom --- just acts immature and as a wastrel ---- till Sona came along. Compare hat Sona did with her life ---- same 7 years, she picked herself up and became strong.

So yes --- now they are different people and different characters. Thats exactly the point. :)

Soo... yes he's flawed. We all are - but its a choice of who we want to live with and which flaws are ok... thats life na? We each see good and bad in others and make a judgment at a point in time...

I am sorry but we have seen already he think the baby would have made a difference. He said had she told him about the baby --- he would have just forgotten and gotten back then n there? Really

Very well said Di!👏
Dev's life too wasn't a cakewalk
Though he is flawed
But his love for Sona was selfless
He said to Sona that even if the treatment fails it'll not affect their relationship
And u very well know what he did with shruti...Not even for once he allowed her to get close to him!
And It's Devakshi -the characters that have made us fall in love with not becoz of their looks or off screen chemistry
Dev's character has not been portrayed as a Superhero unlike other shows
He is real just like us
He has a pure heart but still is impulsive , short tempered just like a normal person would be!

Yes -- and for her that is a HAPPY ending :)

For a change, I dont. I want it to end in a tragic way where Sonakshi lives happily ever after like last 7 yrs with her wonderful family and happy jolly way, and with Dev and Ishwari mourn and die with each other for destroying everyone's life. Let the show be a change where it says a stalker, drunkard, manhandler, bully always ends up alone and that karma exists. 😛
