Is a good daughter in law someone who has to make a martyr of her self? Even when the MIL is quite off the point and is wrong?
Or is she a strong woman who tries to be the positive force?

After -- being thrown out of the hospital, treated like crap, would be good if Anika told Pinky - apology not fully accepted: and leaves OM. SSO safe from tia --- then please leave.

Daadi - sweet old lady was heart broken at a divorce -- but why would she not ask her Bahu to lead her own life? When she knew Tej was never faithful? Did Janvi have to be the martyr?

And as for our dear SSO --- can I say grow up please? Seriously, one doesn't get his ego ka nakhra, ML or not... honestly, its tiresome.

You are so right about this martyrdom! Why do girls have to prove to their Mothers in law that they are not worthy until they are ready to give up ones life for the family, take all the insults and humiliation without being given a chance to defend oneself...and all the insults are hurled right in front of the WHOLE famly, especially when there is some function eg wedding, funeral, party etc...as you said...it is getting tiresome
I just feel Pinky's behaviour is just too OTT !!

Thank you for saying it like it is. All TV serials are very anti-feminist. Even if not on purpose.

That thing you asked, Anika giving it back to Pinky, it should happen but it won't. Because it's too in-your-face for TRP audiences - which btw, are mostly female.

Dwell on that
