Two individual, two pieces, the two sides...

Throw what was, not looking back. Forget the past, uproot.

You can forget the past, you can relive the pain, you can cross the barrier. But you can't tear yourself apart, you can't erase the experience, albeit bitter, which you had to go through.

It is part of the personality, the part of you.

Today, in an effort to fit into the new circle, you're trying to narrow eyes, and a white flash overwrite your way, its result.

But tomorrow, even succeeding in a new way, in a new guise, you will face the fact that you need your previous experience. Obtained through the pain obtained through learned from the mistakes, but it need.

And again in your way gets past - you can either use what has already been acquired or in the process to get new wounds, exacerbating old ones.

Maya is still trying to not come back, but the seconds, people pull everything back, they call the old Maya. Inspector Jhanvi and Vandana, this woman literally tries especially hard.

Difficult choice, but the more Maya will fight within herself, the more will the real problems the outside.

Now at least there is freedom from the company, as it does not cause problems, but Maya left her, and from there one morning may come the challenge too...

Ayan was on top today. Vandana loses another son in her struggle. Ayan was always at her side, defended her against his brother. But his mother today, which teaches him to respect the limits of relationships in the family, she burns its in her desire to go against Maya...

Denying herself in a simple opportunity to be who you are.

What for?

To accept in this house, in this family.

And now Maya Mehrotra fluttering somewhere inside, lit by the desire not to give herself to attack, attempting to break out...

But Maya Arjun Sharma chose a different path - the path of her patience and understanding, and endless forgiveness

And as always, that neither did Maya it goes to the end.

Arjun loved Maya for who she is.

Why Maya has to change?

Ayan, Dusky accept her for who she is. Arjun accept.

Respect, openness, trust - is not a given. It is earned in the relationship. It doesn't come just like that, for no reason.

The person is changing herself, thanks to or in spite of the situation and people.

When a person changes herself for somebody to fit someone else's wishes, to fit in someone's frame - it is violence against the person. And Maya simply mocks herself for the fact that Vandana accept her.

Is Arjun noticed how internal emotional forces takes this path? Is he noticed this Maya not his Maya? Can he see what's going on?

Sooner or later, Maya would explode, and then the blame will fall on her again...

Meaningless process exercise price, which is peace of mind...

Just wonder, when Maya goes to the roof, and once again will dangle legs in the air in a complete prostration, somewhere on a razor's edge ...

@Laska beautifully written and I agree to you. When a girl gets married she is expected to leave her identity and fit into the identity that is expected by her in laws. When the girl tries to do that what happens is that she is neither this , nor that. Because your original identity can never be emerged. You cannot change for someone else.

Change will happen. New experiences will change you. Certain old perceptions will break. Something new gets added. But this is a gradual process. The girl also brings some changes to the house hold in due time.

But no one wants any change to their house, only the girl is expected to change. Result is destruction across. Because the girl in her struggle to deal wtih her past and present somewhere as you said will blow up and then the fingers are pointed at her.

It is just a perception that if you change according to some template you will be accepted. No. Only if you are truthful to yourself acceptance happens.

But among other things it has another more compelling reason that drives her to the edge - her illusions, her fears, her past ...

Maya really loves Arjun, she doesn't want torn him between his mother and his wife, didn't want to tear off Dusky, Aayan. While anyone didn't threaten her, she doesn't attack

Dusky attacked first, and in return received a candlelight dinner (oh, that was over the scene - amazing!). Dusky has set up Arjun against Maya, he came and attacked Maya, and Maya didn't leave it unanswered.

Dusky threatened to take away Arjun - in Mauritius, on engagement, and Maya is trying to protect herself. When Dusky retreats, Maya doesn't fight with her.

With Vandana Maya doesn't go down this path - she takes the blows, for Arjun, she tries to please, trying to change herself.

She knew loneliness much better than Arjun, and she doesn't want that for him.

She simply refuses to from the past, she is totally trying to change her identity and casts her experience.

In prison, between Jhanvi and Arjun - Maya breaks

She is literally torn apart - Jhanvi need Maya Mehrotra, Maya need Maya Mehrotra to protect Jhanvi. To solve the problems, to deal with the inspector need Maya Mehrotra. But standing next to Arjun and there should be Maya Arjun Sharma, Maya Arjun Sharma can neither defend nor to decide. Maya Arjun Sharma haven't her own personality, she is only cliche application to Arjun.

And in prison Maya Arjun Sharma retreats, goes Maya Mehrotra - she is reminds inspector about the syringe, she isn't blinking looking at the gun and knocks it out of hand, Maya Mahrotra catches cop's hand.

Maya does not attempt to balance them, she always kills one

For a long time she survive? No! But every moment of this battle, this inner war is her psychological, emotional health, and it costs a lot.

Arjun is worried about Maya's happiness, he suspects Jhanvi, but he didn't notice what is happening much more destructive process, and he allows it to happen.

Maya said that around the world she has no place where she could be just Maya, so she was looking for peace.

She found it with Arjun, but Arjun took it also.

Maya again can't be Maya anywhere - near Arjun must be Maya Arjun Sharma, next to Jhanvi Maya Mehrotra.

But the most depressing that this sadism that Maya performs to herself totally useless - Vandana will not accept, no matter how perfect Maya could be, even if Maya dies for Arjun Vandana will not accept her, Vandana just once again blame, because she must alive for Arjun's happiness, but she die.

That is why support Dusky, her promotion, in this case just cruel - and I see here some game from Dusky

Sometimes people just don't accept us without any reason, and we just need to accept it, and move on

Now Arjun in his worries about Maya, starting to hide his thoughts and actions from Maya, Maya sees it, she feels it, and soon Arjun will take the most important what he gave her during that time - a peaceful sleep

Poor Maya tries her best to keep light win over darkness
She jumps from one to another
One moment she is not scared of a gun the other moment she is begging in front of the officer to let her mom go?!
Who is Maya?
Even we don't know yet
This show has yet to reveal a lot about Maya and I'm surely very excited to see what Happens next

@Laska balance you said it. She doesnt know to balance. She thinks it is like this. But many are like her only. Even Dusky at times thinks it is like this.

If you see Dusky is also torn. Torn between Prem's Saanjh and Arjun's Dusky. She wants to be Arjun's Saanjh also. But it doesnt happen. She remains Dusky.

If you see now this Dusky is running around Arjun. She doesnt realize it is her presence that makes Vandana go more bonkers because Saanjh is what she wanted and Maya is what she got.

If Dusky had left it would have easy for Maya because there is no Dusky so Arjun will allow Maya's resources to be used. Dusky is not realizing without knowing she is also harming Maya.

If you look more closely, in the police station is not Maya Arjun Sharma. She had to retreat.

Yes, Maya asks inspector to let Jhanvi, but how she does it?

She folds her arms in front of inspector, but with a loud bang, she asks, but doesn't beg, she is kept on the edge, teetering between two abysses

It is Maya Mehrotra and her patience is running out

Yes, but Dusky torn between relations - a daughter and a friend. As Arjun is torn between relations - a a husband and a son.

But each time Maya selects one person over another. It's kind of a split personality with her own hands, a conscious split personality.

Maya switched between them.

Maya shared the first - home and work, daughter and the boss, the one who loves, against the one, whom afraid, weakness against strength.

And the first thing to Maya afford to be herself

Does a wife cease to be a daughter. When Maya tells Inspector old Maya had nothing to lose. Really. She was a daughter then. She had her mother to lose. But Maya Arjun Sharma forgets that role, that relation completely.

When you balance you manage relations. You realize you are a daughter, sister, wife, mother, professional etc etc and try to draw boundaries on each. If you dont learn to draw boundaries, if any relation gets more importance than required it creates imbalance and result is always destruction.

Everything has a limit. When it crosses the limit the result is catastrophic. But every catastrope need not be negative, some changes bring positive outcome too. But the kind of limit crossing these characters are doing it will be destruction only.

That unites Maya, Arjuna and Dusky - everyone chooses one relationship over the other, and not trying to hold the balance between.

Dusky is for Arjun. Arjun goes for Maya.

And everyone is ready to go for the sake of this to conflict. Forgetting that the other side also need to be addressed, not to try to defeat it, not try to impose their will, but to find a compromise

At this point, for example, is much more obvious fit just Vandana - she wants to impose her desire to Arjun, and completely ignoring his wishes.

She believes that if she impose her opinion to Arjun, he will be happy.

Forgetting that Arjun's happiness, at least at the moment, depends on Maya's happiness.

Arjun tries to solve Maya's problem, but first he needs to solve his own problem with Vandana - she doesn't give him a private space and privacy, denies him the right to make his own decisions. When he decides this issue with Vandana, Maya's problem will be solved by itself, because Vandana will have to recognize Maya as Arjun's part, his choice, even if she is not agree with him.

Also, with Prem - he wants Dusky to stay away from Arjun, he is not ready to wipe her tears. But if she is ready? If she wants it?

Maya also switches between different personalities, between the faces of her perception of the world, and her main problem is not so much to resolve relationships, rather than draw limits, as see who is actually she.

She never was a daughter - she had to be a mother. Was she weak? She was forced to be weak. She became wife, and tries to become Bahu

But where among all this mess Maya by herself?
