My theory on the murderer

So i think that the killer is...*drumroll please* Vandana!

Now before you'll call me mad let me explain- i think she killed ashwin accidentally.

Ok so we know that there's definitely a murder scene they havent shown (to create the mystery. duh) so what i think happened is this-

the car accident happened. And that's connected. that's why they showed the scene. So i think that ashwin was in that accident. now i dont think he was hit by the car or else he would have wounds and scars...maybe he got hit in the chest or something..which makes him fatally injured. Now vandana probably learns of the crash and suspects ashwin's involvement and goes to investigate and finds him injured there. Now at this point she's all panicky and also really curious to know what maya's deal is and in an attempt to revive ashwin, takes the injection from the car's first aid box to help but as we all know, she accidentally gives him an overdose, gets scared and runs away because she has a marriage to stop.

I know this sounds far fetched but it would explain why she's shocked and kind of scared when she over hears the policemen discussing the murder. This also explains why she's so hostile towards maya bcz she indirectly blames maya for the fiasco (common! we all now her flawed logic) and maybe she's even trying to put the blame on maya and get her away from arjun.

I even somewhere suspected saanjh to be in vandana's place and do this whole thing but then she wouldn't really panic and would rather call the ambulance wouldn't she ? what do you'll think ?

Fair point. But if that logic is considered, then why havent they done it yet ? why waste time interrogating 3 suspects when you can simply match fingerprints ? Unless, the finger prints are not matching. maybe because they dont have the right suspect ?
