Bose family and Elena - Page 4

I have a very different opinion on the Boses / Elena scene here.

I just did not find it realistic .

Eli and Sona were such beautiful sisters who shared a great bond. Seven years ago their bond broke. I just cannot believe that there is no disappointment what so ever on not being able to stay in touch for 7 years. If Time heals everything then that should reflect in behaviour with other people too. I dont see that though in the Boses.

Elena made a decision just like Sona made a decision.

Ok even if she was forced by the Dixits as all are saying even then she opted to Not to stay in touch with her family. She is not a Victim here. It is just simply wrong to turn every situation into a pitiable situation for females. It is just like we want to uphold we are strong Women yet want men to stand up from their seat to offer it to us in a stuffed train bogie !! All in the name of Chivalry ... would we do the reverse of this if a man asks us to vacate a seat and let him sit instead...

She did make a choice to stay with the Dixits and has been living comfortably since then, she gets happy when they say that they recognise she made a choice to stay with them and gave them an upperhand over her own family. So please lets just stop the victimisation here. I will not believe Elena who was shown to be more Bold than Sona was subdued into staying back she Chose it out of what was in front of her as simple as that.

She did go ahead and marry Vicky despite attempts by Sona to stop this so Elena is capable of making her life choices.

Another scene, Elena says this family does not do anything for others without purpose is such a laughable thought. Doesn't suit her.

Someone who cares two hoots about her own child coz she knows that there is this someone in the house who is bonkers about her son and will go to pick / drop / attend school functions that there is absolutely no need for her to worry and she can continue living her life as she wants without even bothering to pay attention to her son.

It is Hypocrisy. You cannot mould every situation to suit your purpose and still cry a Victim. Are you not USING the same person who used you supposedly yesterday? And you use him everyday. Where does the moral policing in your head go then ??

Elena is family but still as per the Boses they had no expectations from her so there is no question of them being angry / disappointed with her that she too never ever made an attempt to get in touch with them ? hmmm...I am unable to get across this thought at all. If as a family we should all be quite forgiving then this should apply on the Dixits too. Do Dev and Ishwari know the evil face of Vicky / GKB, Elena being wife has no clue what to talk about Dev. This kind of neutralizes the superficial thought of why Dev lets Vicky be in the household and let them have their way but then why is it so wrong in everyone's eyes? Why doesn't the family angle/ the forgiving angle work here? I wuld really appreciate if someone can make me understand this. Why the dynamics of relationships in two households is not being seen with the same eyes? Ele is Sona's sister while Vicky is Dev's brother. Elena is not evil but Vicky is. We know this as a viewer but looking as a third person , do they know ? why is this difference in approach ok ? why is one ok while other is wrong.

Hasn't Elena lied to the Boses in the past at the time of her marriage and Sona and family felt betrayed, we all saw that but she was forgiven. Wasn't the family pride hurt that time so what made them accept the relation so quickly the very next day. I cant help but feel its due to them being Boses. Elena is their blood relation and this is why it is so?? OR because they are a good family ?? then it means everything is acceptable if done by a Family member... Is it ??? Everybody likes to forgive their own children. Sadly it does not apply to the other party.

So now whatever Elena will say to them will be taken as the truth despite it being known that she is capable of lying and does it when the need be, still there shall be no after thought. I certainly dont see the Boses doing what they themselves preach.

I found it to be the most fake scene ever. Thoughts and discussions on this are welcome.

Edited to add : I have a question too. So are there any chances of Vicky being forgiven in future if Elena tries to patch up her family and her husband?? Can the Bose's tell Elena what Vicky did to them or has it all been forgotten and they would not want to trouble their daughter or does it not matter at all whether she knows or not ??
