Don't understand your point. It was never about ego...it was about the life partner and family Elena had chosen for herself. Had it been anyone else Bose family wud hv accepted the guy with open arms but this was Vicki n Gkb who never missed a chance to make life difficult for Sona or to insult Bose family, moreover Vicki is the worst guy possible but still Bose fam accepted him finally for Elena's sake.

see according to me they are still accepting elina back they are not judging her for Vicky. They are happy to have their daughter back.

May be this 7 years is messing up our head. Boses have moved forward just like their core character. They have made peace with their past. They didn't have any problems with talking to Ishwari when they first came face to face. They are more rich, powerful and content with their lives. The Dixits because of Dev and Ishwari haven't moved an inch from that fateful day. They have just woken up from their slumber and is very much angry with the Boses for all their sufferings. Living in their past and not letting go had always been a Dixit trait. So I didn't feel anything different than what is supposed to be.

Because Bose family know that Elena had already paid her price by living with the Dixithole for 7 long yrs 😆. What more could they do to punish her !😉

I hate / dislike comparisons
When we say we wish some realistic moments with Elena sudden presence uninvited totally
We don't need to justify boses or show drastic comparison of boses vs dixits

Elena was wrong and we all know
Still she is visiting them very much like a stranger

At the moment she entered the home..
def we don't expect a scene but they showed big warmth instead of cold behaviour
Someone could show that for a lil while

I still don't get it. Why should they be cold to her. Sona recently remarked to Ishwari about how they have also lost that bond with Elena. If they didn't regret this she would not have told so. And it is 7 years. Why should they be angry on Elena for what the Dixits did to them? She was a kid then still studying. There is change in relationship dynamics because they don't trust her anymore. She was treated as a relative not as a Bose but as a Dixit. I was surprised seeing the forum. May be it is me. But I didn't find anything odd in it. Really. 😃

This was my exact thoughts. I was disappointed, and no it's not about holding grudges. But it's human nature after seeing you own after 6 years, 'rememberinf' them and coming to see Then, it is quiet natural for questions to arise.
