I agree !! I hate Jio coz of excessive promotions on FF

FF award standards are going down each year n this year was probably the worst.
Horrible editing, Long boring performances and below average hosting. Not to mention, an overdrive of Jio. Some non-deserving winners especially Neerja...Swara/ Radhika should hav gotten Best Actress Critics and Ratna Pathak deserved it more than Shabana.
Also, Kapoor and Sons had such a refreshing natural direction...reminded me of theatre plays and the whole cast (incl. supporting actors) acted SO well. How can Shakun Batra not win Best Director for it?

Saw a snippet while surfing the channel. I was shocked, Rishi Kapoor won over Fawad Khan for Kapoor & Sons. I didn't find anything exceptional in his role. It was only the makeup that made him stand out. If anything it's the makeup artist who deserved the award.

Wow...this was probably one of the most boring Filmfare's ever. It was just so lackluster! Considering we've had an amazing 2016...the show was a let-down. What was with all this Jio crap? We get it, they're the sponsers...but why are they being shoved down our throats as if its a cult or someting? The performances were all terrible. Alia's performance was such an embarrassment...she looked like a 7 year old dancing at a wedding😆 No grace, no feminity...it was absoultely disgusting to watch. Jumping and hopping around doesnt make you a great dancer, and people on this forum were praising her as if she just delivered a Sheila or something 😆😆😆 Ridiculous.

Tiger's performance was good, but this is now his 15th dance performance where he is doing the same thing again and again. My friend, you already need to reinvent yourself, and if you're a limited dancer, then dont perform any and everywhere 😆

I also found it hilarious that Kar Gayi Chul won Best Choreography 😆 I think that is probably the most unfair yet hilarious receipent of the 2017 award season 😆😆
