Ananya Kashyap : A 27 year old journalist working in one of the most renowned news channel named KKN ! She is the editor in chief of the channel . She is a very chirpy and bubbly girl from outside but totally shattered by inside .. Various reasons behind it .. Due to her parents death , being the only child and some other bad past incidents ..

Khalid : An intelligent hunk in his mid forty's ... Hes made for business and so is business made for him is what he thinks ... Hes part owner of KKN and a true guider for Ananya after her parent's death ..

Hello I am Palak .. my old account palzz_2612 stopped so i started a new account and i am writing my first ever fanfic on India forums .. i have also posted this fanfic on wattpad ... my account there is kaya-reporters... hope you'll will like it .. 😳 😳

Chapter 1

A bright new morning in Delhi but the same old story plays the day .. A beautiful girl unwillingly gets up from her plush bed and walks towards the washroom .. After 15 mins comes out clad in her bathrobe .. Opens up her huge wardrobe which is actually utilised only 1/4 amount of it ... She quickly dresses up and goes towards her kitchen where her maid gives her her black coffee and egg-whites ... After around more 10 mins she leaves her house to go to her second home thats KKN . She reaches the office and is greeted warmly by everyone..

She goes towards her cabin and sits one her desk where she finds a note from Manav .

"Good morning beautiful . A red flower for the red lady :) "

Manav is a senior journalist in KKN and has a huge crush on Ananya or pretends to have one ! Hes tried all the ways out to convince Ananya to give their relationship a try but Ananya is not interested in wasting her time for all this things .. For her job is the only thing .. Which gives her money and her time is utilised .!

While shes working on her laptop .. Khalid enters .
Good Morning sweety !
Good morning khalid ! She retorts back with equal smile .

Editorial meeting ?
Oh ya ! Lets go .. And both of them leave for the meeting . Ananya starts the meeting where the whole day schedule is laid .
After the meeting was about to end .. Khalid spoke up :

Ananya you remember i had told you about hosting a weekly food show where we could get a chef whom we would capture while making dishes of different continents as this will gain us the ladies audience too

Yes yes . Did you find any chef ?
yes . I have called him for a meeting in the latter half . Hell be here and im hoping you deal with him .

Ok Khalid . But whats his name ..?
Khalid just smiled and went out .

CHAPTER 2

Ananya' s curiosity levels were increasing by minutes . She googled all the possible chefs coming out here but all in vain .
Finally it was time for all her curiosity levels to succumb. It was 4 pm and Ananya couldn't wait anymore. She rushed out of her cabin and barged into khalid's without having the curtesy of knocking and blabbed

"Khalid i dont know when is this chef of yours coming but i want to know whos he ! " she finished in one go and looked at him only to see khalid sitting with someone and grinning at her sweet antic . The person turned his chair towards this lady.
"Mein aapko aur wait nahi karaunga ananya ji . Mein hu Chef Kabir Sharma. Aj se actually kal se apke 7:00 food slot ka malik.
Nice to meet you! "
Umm..pleasures all mine but wait a second we have met before right ??
"Kya baat hai kamaal ki memory hai apki Ananya . I hope you don't mind calling you that.. " Not at all..

But hum kaha mile the .. Wait a second arent you that guy who saved me that time ...

* Flashback*
A year ago ... Ananya was a senior reporter in KKN and it was KKN's annual party which she had gone to attend . There were many great officials present at that party which even included kabir's name as he was one of the leading chef's of India . When suddenly Ananya had got a call . After that call her whole life was ruined . It was shattered to core . She walked out of the party and started walking aimlessly . Kabir was outside the hall attending a phone call when he saw Ananya walking aimlessly on middle of the road at this hour ..! Kabir knew Ananya as he was a big fan of his work only WORK! He loved the way she used to go to the depth of each story to find out the truth .. He walked fast trying to compete with her ... When he saw a truck coming towards her and was horning all its guts out but my my ! This girl was lost ! He quickly ran and jumped with her sliding him and her both away from the truck's reach . This sudden jolt brought back Ananya out of her behaviour. "Ananya mam please sambhal ke . Ye zindagi hai . Iske sath aise nahi khelte. Aur ap jaise honhar aur hushaar log to bilkul bhi nahi " he said and was about to walk away .. When he heard her sob. Jab life jeene ki ek lauti wajah bhi ghum ho jati hai na to zindagi khiloni jaisi hi lagti hai ! Ye baat ap nahi samjhenge Mr. But anayway thank you ! And ananya turned and went away .!
*flashback over*
Ap abhi tak zinda hai ? Mujhe ye jankar khushi hui .! Said kabir in his mocking attitude .. Aur ap abhi tak mar nahi gayi mujhe is baat ki hairaani hai ! She replied in the sneaky way and both burst out into fits of laughter!
Khalid : ab since you'll two have got to know each other ... Youll can please discuss the show details and next week's line up . Kabir ill see you tomorrow .
Bye ananya sweetheart ! And khalid left ...
Ananya and kabir went to the cafeteria and discussed the show details perfectly .. They decided the menu details too for the first week to be well prepared before the show starts ..! It was almost 8 while they finished their work .
Ok kabir. Were done with this ill see you tomorrow then .. She smiled and was about to leave when kabir called her from behind..
Ananya , dinner ? Apne is new chef ke haath ka khana nahi taste karna chahogi ..?
Mr. Sharma ap apni boss per line marne ki koshish kar rahe hai ?? She asked with an evil grin to which he replied honestly .. Ananya kisi ke under aur kisi ke liye kaam karne mein buhut fark hota hai .. Aur mein tumhare channel ke liye kaam kar raha hu jise tumhe profit hoga to idhar baat barabar ki aati hai ! Ya youre actually right ! Sorry .. Chalo dinner's on me ... Tumhare haath ka khana mein kabhi bhi kha sakti hu .. Aj is world class chef ko mere hath ka khana taste karwati hu .. She said and both of them left ... -------------------------------------------

Chapter 3

Ananya and Kabir reached ananya's house .. She told kabir to have a seat while she would change and come ...
While she was away kabir took a glance of the lavish apartment she owned .. It was simple yet classy . Neat , and elegant just as her ..! He was looking at the photo frames on the wall when ananya came back wearing a black tee and floral baggy shorts ..

She tied her hair in a bun and went towards the kitchen ..

"So chef kya khana pasand karenge ap?" "
Jo bhi tum bina jalaaye ache se paka sakti ho .. And he laughed at his own pj which he knew was a bad one ...

Umm do you wanna eat some shezwan rice with paneer curry ?
" fine " he said and she started soaking the rice .. (Sorry i dont know the ingredients and recipe and stuff as i suck at it so sorry if i do any step in cooking wrong) Kabir since youre just lazing around , do you mind to chop the paneer into cubes .. Ya sure .. And he went in the kitchen and started doing as he was instructed ...

Well Ananya you have a very beautiful house ...

Even im finding an apartment on rent . I definitely donot have any intentions of staying in a hotel room for 10-12 months ..
Youre staying in a hotel ? Why ? Arent you from Delhi only ??

Ananya and kabir made the food together .. And placed it on the table with two glasses filled with french wine ..! They were enjoying their dinner when Ananya's senses worked ..
Kabir you can move in with me !

" Oh shut up kabir i dont mean that .. What i mean to say is i have a 4 BHK flat and 3 rooms are empty .. You can shift here till you find an apartment for yourself.!
Well yes .. Thats a good idea ... But ananya you will take rent from me and thats final !! Ananya made a pouty face but then agreed to it ..! She finally got a companion whom she could think about except the hardships of her life ...
The next day after kabir's mind blowing first episode of food slot .. He shifted with his bag to Ananya's place .. He evolved around the atmosphere of the house very quickly ... And Ananya and Kabir became best friends in no time ... Time passed , days passed and many moments passed ... Ananya and kabir was bestest of friends .. They used to have their lunch and dinner together .. It used to be a kabir' s special meal or sometimes ananya's treat .. Both enjoyed each others recipes not only of food but of their living lifestyle too ... Kabir had started falling for Ananya .. And he had no regrets in accepting the fact that he had fallen in love with her ... And who wont .. She 's a beautiful girl with brains .. And a man finds this best quality in his girl .. Kabir somewhere knew that ananya was having the same feelings for him but hadnt realised it yet .. And his thinking was right .. Ananya felt attracted towards kabir more than she ever felt for anyone .. Her mind and heart continuously told her that she's fallen in love with him .. But she just wouldn't accept it .. And kabir decided to give her worlds all time to think about it .. Before he could ask for the same
