but in our country their is a rule that sons should take care of his parents if not he will be punished but same is not with daughters... Simply enjoy parents money and property and leave them alone... I have seen many people where if they have sons they feel secure and it's true ,if they have daughters they should leave alone... In my opinion parents means not only son's parents but also daughter parents... Girls or boys should takecare of his/her parents that's it...

How stupidly they are showing Maya turning into a ideal bahu who cooks, keeps calm when sas hating etc and left her Ill mother alone... So after marriage women should be a house wife and cook, clean, do foot massage to her in-laws ... To all girls my suggestion is if you want to be a house wife then please don't study at least your fathers hard earned money will be saved in their old age cuz as per our culture daughter don't have responsibilities towards parents so at least save ur parents money on ur education so that it will be helpful in their old age

Hi, no hate, but I'd like to point out your approach to this topic was slightly blunt and came across as something it shouldn't have.
I'm not too happy with Maya's transformation in the show either, but in this case it was solely Maya's choice. After a very eventful life, perhaps she just wants some time to relish the little things in life. In no way is the show portraying that post marriage a girl must cook and clean and be a slave to her in-laws, as I said, Maya's life has been crazy, maybe she wants a bit of normalcy for the time being (?)
I believe you are a feminist by your views and I agree, girls and boys must have equal responsibilitues, equal pay for equal work but above all girls do deserve education. Education is not only used as a means to impart knowledge on a specific subject but also values of life, morals, ideals and to develop our beliefs.
When you say girls should not study if they plan on becoming house wives, I presume you talk about higher education. In a way, I agree, there's no point of getting a PhD in organic chemistry if you don't plan on utilising your hard earned degree but regarding education upto university, it is necessary for every person, girl or boy.
You claim girls "waste" their fathers' money on education, but there's many other possibilities to this example: there's boys too, who "waste" money on education to become a no-one, there's girls who actually earn their own money for their education, there's students who get scholarships on their own merit, etc. Hence, I feel generalising your point to all girls is incorrect (in my opinion at least).
I hope I didn't come across as offensive, it was not my intention, I was merely stating my personal opinion.

asking girls to don't neglect her parents then is it called feminist...i think girls just enjoy parents property and ignore her parents in the name of girl is called feminist.. I didn't said son should neglect his parents but i said both son and daughter should take care of parents... Children's should take care of their parents...

I feel you are as regressive as some Indian families who force women to be housewives and not work outside. Maya CHOSE to leave job and work at house Atleast for time being. Nobody forced her but u feel it's regressive. So according to you it's good to force women to work outside and not at home and don't give them choice to decide for themselves. So basically you just want to force your ideology on somebody else. You don't want to give women freedom to decide what they want to do with their life. This is not women empowerment in fact this is reverse women suppression. To expect every women to just choose Wat u think is right for them not Wat they want. You just want to call women empowerment is only to make women work outside be it forcefully or without women choice. You don't want to give women freedom to choose Wat they want but want them to chose Wat u want. Sorry but it's not FREEDOM

And you said parents should not expect anything from daughters why tell me why Common like son parents daughter parents also become old so they need their child care but if daughter simply enjoy her parents money and property and don't have any responsibility then definitely i hate that... If we say truth many will get angry but it is true... In my opinion both son and daughter should have responsibilities towards parents ...i didn't said girl child is waste but I will say to daughter's please don't neglect ur parents ...

If you think that girls only enjoy their parents property and money and thn dont care for their parents.. Thn why dont u try to change society where girl has to live her house after marriage. Why cant like son, daughters can stay back ay thier house after marriage and look after her parents..
You know u r being hypocrite. Girls do care for their parents. Evn aftr marriage. But thy have got new family responsiblty too.. If thy leave thier inlaws house to move to her parents house, the same society will badmouth her and her parenrs too.. Her parents thmselves expect her to be sanskari and devote to her inlaws. If she doesnot do that ppl will criticize her parents sanskar..
You know girls dont enjoy parents money.. Thy are thier parents pride. Thy have to uphold her parents honour not only whn wth parents but also in her inlaws home..
Nowdays Son, who have JOBS, still move out of thier parents house and in name of caring send monthly money to parenrs.. So that is caring acc to you. Bcoz thy are son..

iam not hypocrite you are hypocrite.. Yes I want a change in this culture where daughters should leave her parents alone and take care of her husband parents where as son's and his wife should take care of his parents... And in middle class families for daughters marriage parents will sell their land , gold, etc... When we ask a son to take care of his parents then everyone will say ur correct, yes etc then if we give same advice to daughter's then it is wrong na...from many years their is a lot of change in our baised cultures so similarly i want a change in this culture where daughters are parayi to her parents... Both girl /boy parents need their children care so we should not ignore them

No I didn't said we should force women to earn but i hate a daughter who neglect her parents after marriage... Cuz parents need their children love and care but it is not correct where only a son should take care of his parents where daughter should not...
