Hi, no hate, but I'd like to point out your approach to this topic was slightly blunt and came across as something it shouldn't have.
I'm not too happy with Maya's transformation in the show either, but in this case it was solely Maya's choice. After a very eventful life, perhaps she just wants some time to relish the little things in life. In no way is the show portraying that post marriage a girl must cook and clean and be a slave to her in-laws, as I said, Maya's life has been crazy, maybe she wants a bit of normalcy for the time being (?)
I believe you are a feminist by your views and I agree, girls and boys must have equal responsibilitues, equal pay for equal work but above all girls do deserve education. Education is not only used as a means to impart knowledge on a specific subject but also values of life, morals, ideals and to develop our beliefs.
When you say girls should not study if they plan on becoming house wives, I presume you talk about higher education. In a way, I agree, there's no point of getting a PhD in organic chemistry if you don't plan on utilising your hard earned degree but regarding education upto university, it is necessary for every person, girl or boy.
You claim girls "waste" their fathers' money on education, but there's many other possibilities to this example: there's boys too, who "waste" money on education to become a no-one, there's girls who actually earn their own money for their education, there's students who get scholarships on their own merit, etc. Hence, I feel generalising your point to all girls is incorrect (in my opinion at least).
I hope I didn't come across as offensive, it was not my intention, I was merely stating my personal opinion.
