Though the story is old but the way it is told is very sweet/warm and feel for the lovers ..the innocence,the love,romance showed were heart touching ...and the leads though they were newcomers then but acted so briliantly that we feel for them ...thats where it won millions hearts !

Prem from MPK is one of the most endearing characters ever to come out from Hindi/Bollywood cinema. 😳

SRK as Raj is the most charming character ever in BW Those dimples, the mischievous smile, the twinkling eyes, shoddy hair ☺️ loveee Raj ❤️
And SRK-Kajol chemistry was fire❤️ ❤️ Plus songs were amazing .. Cinematography, direction, everything was top.notch ⭐️ DDLJ is really iconic

Love MPK too coz of its innocence .. And Sallu was sooo endearing as Prem .. Compare this Prem to PRDP's Prem and you wont be able to.believe tht its the same actor and same director who gave classic MPK .. 👎🏼

BW just doesnt make such sweet simple yet entertaining films anymore.. 😔

DDLJ I think was one of the main films to give the concept of not running away from home but staying and convincing your parents

Only on IF can MPK be ahead of DDLJ 😆 I saw MPK recently and Gosh it's so cheesy and tacky why is it even considered a classic is beyond me 😆 if I hear Bhagyashree's scheerchy voice and see her pathetic acting one more time I'll have a seizure 🤢 and why is everything so over dramatic in it? Why are people so overreacting in it? 😕 there is far more less drama and overacting in Ekta's serials than this movie 😆 only one saving grace was Salman in it he was very cute and charming in it but that's about it. Never liked barjatya he belongs on Indian Tv.

While DDLJ ahhh no comparison I can still watch it again and again although cliched as well it has such a charm to it topped with SRK and Kajol's real and believable performances and sizzling chemistry ❤️ there is a reason why it's still running in maratha mandir no comparison really.
