Did they sleep together or not?

I have no issues with two consenting adults sleeping together before marriage. They are clearly attracted to each other so its normal to give in. But I have an issue if they did indeed sleep together & that is Myra being drunk. If he did indeed sleep with her while she was drunk, it would be no different than taking advantage of her because she lacked the capacity to consent, while he was conscious. Also, this would be really low of Kabir.

At the moment, its kinda unclear to me whether they did not or not. I am more inclined to say they didn't, but you never know.😆 I just hope there are some flashbacks shown at a later stage as to how they even got to his bed & what actually transpired.

What do you guys think? Did they or did they not? And what could Myra have done that was so embarrassing (as per Kabir) that she dare not call him? And who took her clothes off?

It was definitely insinuated... complete with the pills on the nightstand with the 'You would need these' note. But I doubt the two slept together. The banter between Kabir and Roy hinted that.

Something did go down. Why did Kabir need to get her clothes dry-cleaned? Perhaps she created a scene or something.

I haven't watched the episode, but I would place my bets on them not having done the deed. You are right that physical intimacy between two consenting adults is acceptable but if one of them is inebriated it acquires a different dimension and is termed date rape- they will not do that to Kabir's character because they want to establish him as a hero with a strong set of values- enigmatic and with oodles of charisma. He would be a slimy twerp it he did indeed sleep with her.

My guess is that she drank more than she could handle and threw up, thus creating a scene. And perhaps, he felt responsible for her and took her home lest a man with less morals take advantage.

I guess she threw up and hence he had to get her clothes dry-cleaned. I don't think he is the kind to take advantage of her. But why didn't he inform her friends at least 🤔

I know right! I expected more takers for this show. It is refreshing & so relatable. Plus all that flirting & all😳 But I guess its gonna be one of those good shows with low buzz.

I initially thought she vomitted on her clothes. But something bigger definitely happened because Myra was on the verge of tears when she woke up & rushed to get out of the place. Even back at home, she termed it all a mistake. Even Kabir spoke of the previous night as embarrassing for Myra but also told Roy he's not that kind of a guy to take advantage of girls. The CVs are playing with our minds.😆

Let's see where all this goes!

Two possibilities.
1) It could be that she doesn't remember and she wakes up and misinterprets the situation. Thus her reaction. Though she is too calm, so perhaps she does remember everything.

2) It goes back to second episode. Myra remembers and knows she is attracted and feel something for Kabir and she doesn't want that, hence she turns away.

Everyone always think of it as Kabir pursuing her in the first week, but actually he only started flirting and all after their second meeting. The second meeting happened because Myra was too preoccupied by Kabir and went into male restroom, and then assumed he was there to bother her.

At the end of episode one, it would have been clear to her that her friend was the presumptuous one who mistook a patron for a valet. There was no reason for her to be so annoyed by Kabir that she was looking at menu upside down, bad mouthing him, etc--except for the fact that he did interest her, but that very fact is something she would never accept. Hence it took the former of her viewing him as some badtameez ladka and being unnecessarily annoyed by him.

Similarly, once she wakes up sober, if she remembers everything, it could be that she finally acknowledges to herself regarding her dynamic with Kabir (she trusted enough to gulp alcohol down in front if him, probably her first time drinking). And she doesn't *want* this with Kabir, because she doesn't want to disappoint her mother or want a love affair--especially after what has happened with her sisters.

Hi Dear😃
How are you?

I am very much sure that they didn't do it. And also from the trailer which you posted we can see that Kabir went to stay with Kohlis. And their interactions were normal. From this we can easily understand that nothing of this sort has happened.

Coming to the episode, I really missed Kabir and Myra scenes. Mujhe Kabir-Myra k alava kisi aur cheez se koi matlab nahi hai.😆

However, I don't like the narrative choice of the show which is trying to mislead or make audience "wonder" when it involves a date-rape like scenario.

We clearly see a girl taking hard swigs (presumably her first time) while guy is sober. And then cut to scene which makes it seem like they slept together, and then again no explanation or flashbacks.

It would have been better to show audience what happened instead of using such an instance to hint and tease (show: did they, didn't they: you know they didn't but we will have some fun making it seem like they did) what amounts to date rape.

@KK
Nice to see you here! We seem to have similar tastes in shows.
I do agree with you that Myra seems to be much more hung up on his interest in her than he is & the bit in the coffee shop where she tells her friends that Kabir would do anything to talk to her just emphasised it. Even though Kabir's been the one flirting, Myra seems to be more affected by him & thus dreamt of him at night. She cannot digest this & is running from this havoc Kabir has brought into her life & tries to find reasons to be annoyed or pick a fight with him. I am thus more inclined to believe the latter scenario of her running away from Mumbai so that she won't have to face him again. She believes running away will solve it all (all the Kohlis seem to be big time escapists)

WORD on the ambiguous narrative. I dislike it too because it is not funny & also because of the fact that she was drunk. And her being drunk makes a hell lot of difference to what transpired that night. And I don't like the show even insinuating that they did it while she was drunk & he wasn't, because her capacity to consent was taken away & that would make Kabir nothing short of a rapist who took advantage of her. No matter how modern this show is or they are trying to make it seem, I hope they don't cross a line. The flashbacks should come soon. I don't like the suspense on this topic.

@pressu
Nice to see you here! I did miss Kabir/Myra in one frame but I quite enjoy the other characters as well😃
I don't see their normal interactions in the later episodes as a confirmation of the fact that they didn't sleep together. The preview just showed the bare minimum. Also, sleeping together doesn't necessarily make it awkward for everyone. Maybe they are initially but after some time, people do ease out. And I believe Kabir/Myra are capable of that, especially with the way Myra was calmly able to move back home after the night & Kabir was able to just sit back & decide that its Myra's decision of whether to call or not. I am also inclined to believe that they did not sleep together but I am not 100% sure.

no. i believe kabir when he talked about it with his friend.
that scene was similar to ddlj except she woke up alone. myra being myra assumes the worse. he will tease her for a bit, and then reveal that he is not the type of guy to take advantage of her.

this is the first time in ages i like a male character on an indian show. the two shows i tried to watch last year the male characters were so disappointing, so were the female ones actually.

i really like kabir so far. i was more disappointed by her friends. what kind of friends she had that didn't try to look her up when she disappeared after the drinks? my friends would never do that.
