I agree with you Samridhi. It was bothering me initially but you are right. The way they gave closure to that night finally made me think & I realised they played it out quite smartly to establish Myra's prejudice. And did not pass it off as some blunder which a lot of dramas play on. Very very sensible and impressive writing.
BKK really requires some patient viewing because everything does not move at jet speed or dramatically. The relationships are handled realistically, organically through conversations and require time.

I googled out of curiousity and there are a lot of articles on people especially women forgetting that they had sex when they were dead drunk. That is also one more point. To be fair to Myra, she does not remember the night. Makes sense for her prejudice to deepen.
I am glad that Kabir and Myra believe in serendipity. (how I miss their serendipity conversation.. never saw that word being used on desi tv) 😊

Completely agree with you. And I did have a problem with that initially. But as the show proceeded, I realised that that the CVs did not make any blunder at all regarding the night. Thank you for bringing this up again.

Ending up in his bed was already a bit of a trauma for her; something very much against her old school values. That is one.
Second is that she was badly drunk & had absolutely zero recollection of the night so she assumed the worst. (Rhea made reference to Myra never having a boyfriend etc in 1 of the epis & that she has no clue about stuff.. not sure how relevant this is but just putting it here) But drunk people I believe can forget.
Third, she was already so prejudiced against Kabir that she refused to even think of the facts (i.e the physical feeling of having sex)
Fourth, as you watch on, you'll see that Kabir does deny that nothing happened. But yet she refuses to believe him. It takes her a long time to finally believe his words as he explains the night to her the 2nd time (but in more detail as she finally agrees to listen).

And she believes him not so much because he finally lists down what all that happened factually (despite her unable to recollect). But rather because she finally begins to trust him enough to listen to him & thus takes his word, believing that nothing happened. So the point wasn't so much that the CVs didn't consider the physical feeling of sex & made a big blunder/plothole. I am sure they did given that it comes up in the drama a few times. Rather, the point was to establish how deep Myra's prejudice runs IMO & how she can be so fixated on it against all logic so as to miss the point completely (disregarding you know the feeling of sex etc & the fact that Kabir never harmed her & only tried to always help her & her family) Very Elizabeth Bennet like.

An Elizabeth Bennet reference. I already like you a lot 😊

I understand what you mean and I'm going to keep watching and see what happens next and how they deal with it.

I didn't mean it in the sense of "oh look I've found a loophole". I was just surprised that in a show where so much attention has been spent on detail the writers didn't think of this.
