I just watched the episode, don't think Sayyam was that mean...he seemed confused why Krishna is doing this. He is still feeling guilty about what he did so he feels Krishna is showing only pity.

What Sayyam said was right from his point of view, he basically said he is not ready to accept this new relationship..of course he needs time, he doesn't even know what he feel!

THe real problem is that he doesn't want to know what Krishna feels, he is running away from her, he doesn't care what she feels because he thinks she deserves someone better than him.
