What does he even mean? Is he hinting that Salman was scared Govinda will become more popular than him and hence stopped collaborating?

I get his point where two successful actors do get scared of each other's popularity but I'd expect that from the Khans who are equals.

He spoke about Salman in some interview. Just saw it on IF.

"Mine and Salman's friendship is so strong that if we can't shake hands from above the table, we will do it under the table. Nothing can break our bond. So all these things are baseless. We are a strong buddies."
