So the judges &/or the channel have decided that Manya Narang was deserving of another chance to have the public vote her in or out and brought her back into the Top 9. I, for one, am decidedly not in favor of this decision. Manya scores on her looks and perhaps her voice, but falls flat on every other criteria, especially her ability to lift higher notes. I think sometimes she even falters in the simplest of refrains and she totally murdered "rangeela re" 😃.

I think there were so many others, particularly from the audition rounds, that were more deserving. Here's a list of some of the better singers, please add your own favorites if I have missed any.

1. Santosh Hariharan

2. Karthik

3. Rahul Deb

4. Arif or was it Asif???, the guy from Mumbai with the African girlfriend😃

5. His partner in the theater round, I forget his name, they were both so good, Farah even commented that she was touched by their singing,

6. Soumya

Any of these, IMO, would be more deserving than Manya. Your thoughts?

I would bring back Santhosh and Kartik. In theatre round Kartik was good as Shravan and Santhosh was even better than Revanth. Just wonder how on earth they could be eliminated while mediocre performers like Bharti and Manya were taken in. Poor Judgement.

I don't think it's fair to being someone who didn't make it to the top 14.

For me I'd bring back Saumya or Mansi.

From the theatre rounds Santosh, though I still think it wouldn't be fair

I agree. Santosh might have had a little edge over Revant for me in the theater round. He sang "Bulleya" with all his heart. And Karthik was every bit as good as Shravan. In comparison, I think a lot more medicore singers made it to the top 14.

Its not about fairness. I was just looking for a subjective viewpoint to gauge who among the eliminated had managed to create an impression. Since they seem to have brought Manya back like they picked her name out of a hat! What was the criteria for her selection?

I was never impressed with Mansi or Bharti, so would pick neither over Manya. Same goes for Jeli. Saumya would be my pick from the top 14.

And from the theatre rounds, Santosh or Karthik.

Santosh was definitely better than Revanth in Bulleya.
Both have similar styles and i wasn't shocked they took only one of them.
Revanth made it because he was more charismatic looking than Santosh.

Also with Shravan and Karthick, it's hard to say who was better. His omission was quite shocking. These two deserved to be in the top 14 over some people like Bharti, Jeli, Manya and even Khudabaksh.

Manya is okay, but I would like to bring back mansi too. This year;s Idol is just too weird. First they do double eliminations then bring about one contestant randomly as wild card without giving rest a fair chance.

Arsh and areeb were so good and also karthik,they deserved spots here, certainly not manya..talent is getting ignored over beautiful faces👎🏼..

i never understood why these three were dumped after getting super praises from judges,farah was even crying after arsh/areeb performed -then what happened ?..arsh even had his love story angle which the channel could conveniently exploit for trps...

Manyas return has no logic at all🤔
