Social affairs deals with the science of analysing social issues with the aim of improving on the overall life of citizens.

An inspirational and knowledgable episode on social affairs and political atmosphere of the period .

Both issues were discussed in a nutshell by two events...Acharya's explanation on the usage of public funds and dadima's discussion on swedhi and pardesi( even in 300BC the problem of incorporating foreigners in govt existed)

Chandra knows Nandini too well. He knows she is capable of winning, but wouldn't like winning at all costs like Helena. She needs that extra push sometimes.

Remember the last line that he punches her with - "even if you were interested in the competition, you can't win... " and walks away with a smile on his face.

So Chandra is applying the same tactics that he did to Nandini during Balgram exam episode - when he woke her up from sleep and told her that she doesn't have it in her to disguise and act like a man, or win a difficult exam like Takshashila... She makes up her mind to do so. He seeds the idea in her mind and waits for her to execute it, relishes her performance and then stand beside her to appreciate it.

Because he feels that Her victory is his victory. ...

Truly, atleast for Rajat's sake, we need to reverse the saying "there is a woman behind every successful man" to "There's a man behind every successful woman".

The Precap -- i think it was Roopa (coz she kept repeating the word YAVNI and with a childish accent that Nandini does not have) and Chandra was actually looking at her with suspicion...
