Part 7Dharam meets Gaura at the airport.
Gaura: Did you speak to your prospective FIL?
Dharam: Yes, I spoke. He is not agreeing because of our age difference. Even Meera has shown me her attitude. She cannot tolerate anyone telling her the facts about her dad.
Gaura: Would you like if somebody talks bad about me? You would definitely flare up if somebody does. Same is the case with her. He is her father. You apologize to Meera & talk to her father again.
At Meera's place
Kiran: That man cannot be my son-in-law as long as I'm alive. I am not going to have anything till you reject Dharam.
Meera: Why are you adamant like a kid? If you are thinking about his longevity, even mom should have been alive.
Dharam: if you are adamant on marrying him, I'm your father. I know what is good & bad for you.
Dharam calls up Meera who picks up the phone.
Dharam: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have talked to you like that.
Meera is crying over the phone.
Dharam: what is the matter?
Meera: Dad is refusing to eat. He says that unless I break my relationship with you, he won't have anything. He needs to have his medicines.
Dharam: Mom has come. We are coming to your place. I will speak to your dad.
Both go to Meera's place.
Gaura: I will wait outside. You speak to her dad.
Dharam goes in.
Kiran: don't let anyone come near me.
The servants said, "As per sir's order, I cannot allow anyone inside."
Dharam: Take this sweet box before him. We will see what he does.
The servants take the sweet box before him. Kiran gets up to have.
Dharam meets him. He said, "You have decided not to eat anything because of me and want to pose that you are dieting? Well, I won't take it as that. You are striking as if you are imitating Gandhiji's Satyagraha. Even he has done it for the right cause. He did that for the country but you are doing it without considering your daughter's happiness which means that you are taking away her freedom. You claim that as a father, you know what is beneficial to her. If that was the case, you wouldn't have kept her single till 34 years. You would have got her married a way back. Now, when I came with the proposal, you are rejecting me. If it is for the people, I would say, you have never cared for the society. If t is because of my age, I consider that only as a number or a figure. Once a person crosses 18 and 21 years, they are eligible for the marriage. So whatever is my age, I'm eligible for it. If you care about her feelings, you wouldn't care about my age."
He leaves after saying this. Meera comes in. Kiran holds her hand.
Gaura: What did Kiran say?
Dharam: I have talked to him. He did not seem to get convinced.
Gaura: Come to the temple.
They go there.
Gaura: Now for your wish to get fulfilled, hold the pillar from your back.
Dharam: I have tried. I can't.
Gaura: What is wrong in trying again?
Dharam tries but he could not do but gaura helps him to make both his hands touch each other backward.
Gaura: That is why I tell you to go to the gym.
Meanwhile, Kiran agrees for Meera's marriage with Dharam & lets her go.
Dharam gets the call. He picks the call.
Meera: Dad has agreed to our marriage.
Gaura & Dharam are elated.
Gaura: See, what I told you.
Meera meets Dharam & Guara.
Kiran makes preparations for their wedding. Dharam & Meera get married.
Kiran then comes with them to Dharam's hotel.
Dharam asks his men, "Have they come to the hotel?"
The men said: Yes they have come.
Gaura: At least give a smile now. People feel they are lucky to eat food prepared by their DIL's but you are lucky to get it from your son-in-law.
Dharam: Today is the Lord's test cricket match between India & England. I have taken tickets. Meera, I know you don't like cricket. Mom, are you coming with me?
Gaura: Yes.
Kiran: I was waiting for this day. I will come.
Everyone goes to the cricket stadium.
Dharam introduces Panna to everyone.
Panna: I finished watching A films. I want to see that with you & Meera.
Dharam: Of course but you have to promise me that you will study well.
Panna: Of course, I will.
Everyone enjoys the test match. Kiran too builds a rapport with Panna.
Meera: Panna, Dharam is right in saying you are sexy.
Panna: You are also sexy. I want you to tell me stories.
Dharam: Stop troubling Meera and watch the match.
After the end of the match, everyone goes home. They celebrated India's victory.
Everyone lived happily ever after.
