Since few days i was thinking of writing a post here and after seeing a lot of typical and expectations of "Maturity" from Atharva has compelled me to make this post.
Ravish is a great human being, I agree. He probably is more mature, well controlled than that of Atharva. But is Ravish the standard that Atharva has to achieve to compel people that he is still the better, more passionate and deserving of the two ? I do not think so, from where i see Ravish is just the stereotypical alpha male, he can fight, talk, keep promises, maintain status and even love a woman and for a record he is everything a girl might wish for, but again he is still not what Vividha wants, he is still not the person which Atharva is.
Atharva is flawed, and do i like it ? Yes I do, because he is flawed and for his entire life he has been a tag line of being an illegitimate child of his mother, when he fell in love with Vividha, he knew he had hurdles but he proved his worth too, he is not heroic unlike Ravish, he is not well spoken too, yes he spews harsh words infact very insulting words too for Vividha, but isn't that his right? Isn't that how he is, who puts vividha at a pedestal, a goddess whom he would worship and when the truth strikes him, instead of expecting a hard core Atharva melt down, majority wants him to be sacrificial and wise like Ravish ? Why ? Is that the only thing which would make Atharva superior ?
Ravish had a family, he got his father's money, support, name, responsibilities, whereas on the other hand Atharva has been treated like a fatherless child, he suffered for money, he suffered for love and affection, he has seen his mother bow down to people in silence.
Atharva has never loved anybody other than his mother and vividha, of course and he had almost died in his love, and people expect him to put a straight face and smile at vividha and Ravish when he gets his memories back and when he actually sees vividha wearing Ravish's sindoor? 🥱 .. There is no point in guessing that for most of the desi audience, one who is harsh and vocal about it is a bad guy and immoral and the one with all the qualities and swag is the best thing to happen to the female lead. And sadly that is what this show has been preaching lately
A love story is iconic when it is between two unequal people, who can use each other, support each other and even leave each other but cannot let go. A love story is what Atharva and Vividha had, but CVs are hell bent on proving Ravish is a better match for Vvidha, well why not, he can give her everything which Atharva cannot give her, so it is quite unfair to expect Atharva to bow down to Ravish for whatever Ravish did for him, Ravish saved Atharava only because his father had wronged Atharva for his whole life, it is so easy for Ravish to forget and forgive Vvidha and Atharva, because neither of them has snatched any precious thing of his, not even his dignity whereas it is close to impossible for Atharva to forget and forgive Ravish and Vividha because Ravish got Atharva's share of life, he also got the girl Atharva has loved, he also gets the tag of being the wiser person, and Atharva is just a cartoon whom CVs thought might be entertaining for audience and later realized that ahh this is a hindi show, Atharva is a bad guy because he cannot accept his lady with another man even for a second, because he doe snot do pooja of social norms, because he wants what he loves and does not want to lose it.
Ladies and gentleman, I assure you Ravish is the better one for Vividha, but he is still ot better than Atharva. IMO 😃
