DISCLAIMER: I'm new to SSEL! I have only seen the episodes post-leap, starting from Krishna's entry up until now. My thoughts are based on only what's been revealed in these episodes alone. I only watch the show for KriYam, with no offense to the rest of the story and characters. Peace :)
I think what's attracted me most to KriYam's love story - other than the obviously electrifying chemistry of BabaJotwani and SJ (I'll get to that later haha) - is the oddly similar yet opposing energy they exude towards the one thing that connects them: loneliness. Voh kehte hai naa... jinke paas koi nahi hota, voh akela hai. Lekin jinke paas sab ho kar bhi koi nahi.. voh tanha hai. Krishna and Saiyyam share this feeling of emptiness... the feeling of having no one. They share their tanhai.
And yet, they both approach it differently. Their energy, their attitude towards their ill fate is what makes them appear so incompatible. Krishna, despite being orphaned, has always tried to make her place in the Birla household as a family member. As a daughter. But, she's never really been accepted by one and all. Saiyyam, on the other hand, never even tried to find his place in what is actually, his home. Instead, he's run away from it. He's run away from the love he could have gotten. Blinded by his father's facade, he embraced his loneliness to such an extant that... he began to feel comfortable in it. He got used to it.
With such different directions, how did KriYam end up on the same path? Well. Loneliness, no matter how you choose to deal with it, will cause pain. You can't avoid the suffering no matter how much you try. And this pain and suffering is exactly what has brought them together. Krishna has suffered the pain of a forced marriage because of her loneliness. Her only "mistake", was being her mother's daughter. She found herself caught in Saiyyam's obsessive revenge, just because she was the easy target. And Saiyyam, hiding behind the farce love of his father, soon got his rude awakening when he found out how he came into the world. Being the son of a rapist, he finally has come to realize that his loneliness... his pain, his suffering was not because he was orphaned by his mother. His suffering is because... he is his father's son.
KriYam's pain and suffering has led them, inevitably... to each other. Their only means of finding a home, is in accepting this fact. And here will commence... their unique love. Love that finds its inception in the circumstances of a twisted ill fate. Love that's found in a shared loneliness... in shared suffering. Love, that's found in a hopeless place.
I've made a short VM on KriYam... basically trying to convey all that I've just written. It's just, the way I perceive their story and I thought I would share! Hopefully, you can connect to it and you guys like it! I only upload VMs on my twitter handle... so here's the link if you'd like to watch: https://twitter.com/xxRiah/status/822715343042998273
I'm really, really, REALLY looking forward to watching KriYam's love unfold. I just discovered them literally a week ago, and I'm already so emotionally invested in their story. There's something so unique and captivating about them... I'm just... in love. Karan and Srishti also have AMAZINGGG chemistry. Its so... raw and natural. There's no extra-ness to them, you know? Also, despite being a "young" couple, there's a certain maturity to them that's just so... attractive. I don't know how to describe it. They just have this amazing give and take with each other... all their scenes feel so real. They compliment each other so well, its perfection. Theyre both doing such a great job portraying KriYam... you can't help but fall in love!
KriYam have unbelievably amazing potential - I really hope they focus more on their story. Honestly, I think KarShti should just have their own show as leads... their chemistry deserves its own limelight... ahem, but yea since theyre in SSEL right now - I hope we get to see as much of them as possible. Because I'm only here for them ;)
Haha thanks for reading/watching guys! Hope this forum gets a bit more lively... KriYam deserve so much more love!!
