No idea what is happening. As of now everything is rumour and speculation. I come here daily to check on what might be happening, so I know if it's worth me watching the show or not. But to date, I am not hearing anything I like to hear.
The spin off may be happening, but even that is not confirmed. I think Shrenu joining is more likely if Spin off is happening, as I seriously doubt she will want to join this show to become part of the scenary. She is an experienced actress with several shows behind her and she is a "Lead" not a side kick. So I dont think she will join unless she is given a proper story.
Even Kunal was a lead (I hear as I never saw his other work) and if they dont give him a proper story soon I am sure even he will look for greener pastures. I am sure he does not want to be type cast. So hopefully this spin off happenes, or else most of the actors who are not getting their dues will probably look for other projects and leave. Then Gul can continue her Saas Bahu Vamp fest without them! LOL
