Wow! What took them so long?

I didn't say Streep is not good or not talented, did I? I mentioned it in my post, prev. page that she is highly skilled

And Meryl Streep is called the best living actress sometimes even of all time. She is nominated for either GG, Academy or both every year in addition to other awards

As far as I know I did not call the actror/actresses I like the best living actor/actress, I might think they deserve better but still they are my favorites that's all, they make me watch their shows while several others make me change the channel :-) If they say/do something I totally disagree I mention it no matter who it is.

I also don't make new IDs to make fun of others for their choices

People who are spamming - their accounts and posts are removed.

But people who create MID to stalk and mock others - no action taken against them... I don't know why

I only hope the said MID account does not belong to one of the Mods :-)

Now Meryl Streep is accused of being anti-Israel at the Golden Globes after merely saying actress Natalie Portman is from 'Jerusalem' - while mentioning every other actor's home nation

Streep, who was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award on Golden Globes Sunday, had launched a blistering attack on Donald Trump in front of a room of stunned Hollywood stars.
But while the president-elect may have been the target, she managed to insult football, MMA and now, according to some, the state of Israel, which has battled with Palestinians for decades over ownership of Jerusalem.

* Streep slammed Trump at the Golden Globes on Sunday night over bullying and attitude towards immigrants
* The award-winning actress said 'Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners' and listed examples

* 'Sarah Paulson was born in Florida', 'Amy Adams was born in Vicenzia, Italy',' 'The beautiful Ruth Negga was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and was raised in Ireland', 'Ryan Gosling, like all the nicest people is Canadian', 'Dev Patel was born in Kenya, raised in London, is here playing an Indian, raised in Tasmania.'
* And she added that 'Natalie Portman was born in Jerusalem' sparking controversy that she had not mentioned Jerusalem was in Israel
* Some have branded Streep 'anti-Israel' over her choice of words at the Globes
* Anti-Israel and anti-Zionists do not recognize Israel's ownership of East Jerusalem and refuse to say the city is in Israel
* Trump has also responded to speech calling her a 'Hillary lover' and 'one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood'

'Meryl Streep at Golden Globes was anti-Israel', one viewer tweeted. 'Anti-Israel left refuses to say Israel.'
'Notice Meryl Streep named every actor's foreign country except Israel,' another added.

The ownership of the city of Jerusalem, East Jerusalem in particular, has been a source of conflict for decades.

Jerusalem is also one of the key issues in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process as both Israelis and the Palestinians want it as their capital.

^^^ Agree! He says he has to answer the non stop lies and negative propaganda against him from the media and celebrities...

It's very tough fighting against liberal's dangerous and mean Saul Alinsky tactics... Trump himself used some of this tactics against his rivals during the campaign... He is or rather was a liberal democrat after all :-)

Bill Maher puts Hollywood bubble' on notice: We're the losers now'

Far left leaning Comedian and HBO's "Real Time" host Bill Maher has a message for his Hollywood peers: they're "losers."

Mr. Maher, in a New York Times interview published Sunday ahead of his show's Jan. 20 return from hiatus, said he is worried that President-elect Donald Trump would use the coercive power of the federal government to enact revenge on enemies, but added that celebrities do themselves no favors by loitering in a self-congratulatory "bubble."

"We're the losers now, so it behooves us to break out of that bubble more," Mr. Mahertold The Times.

The comedian addressed actress Meryl Streep's anti-Trump Golden Globe acceptance speech Jan. 8.

"It's very insular, just the liberals talking to themselves, which they are very good at doing," Mr. Maher said.

Former President George W. Bush was also discussed, albeit in a more positive light than Mr. Trump.

BILL MAHER now says Democrats 'made a big mistake' when we 'cried wolf' on other Republicans like Bush, Romney, McCain - They were honorable men...

He says but Trump is really dangerous... Really Maher?

Liberal comedian Bill Maher on the Friday night before election said it was wrong for Democrats to have portrayed former Republicans as villains, explaining that they "cried wolf" when it wasn't necessary.

The "Real Time" host contended Donald Trump, the current Republican presidential nominee, was truly dangerous for America, on the other hand. He lamented that liberals had previously described other Republicans in similar terms, a move he said weakened their ability to get individuals to heed their warnings this time around.

"I know liberals made a big mistake because we attacked your boy [President George W. Bush] like he was the end of the world," Maher told panelist Davidf Frum, a former speechwriter for Bush. "He wasn't."

Maher continued: "And Mitt Romney, we attacked that way. I gave Obama a million dollars, I was so afraid of Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney wouldn't have changed my life that much, or yours. Or John McCain."

"They were honorable men who we disagreed with. And we should have kept it that way. So we cried wolf. And that was wrong," Maher said.
