In a surprising move, Kashmiri Dangal girl Zaira Wasim took to Facebook and Twitter 'clarifying' and 'apologising' to people for her 'recent' actions. She met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti a couple of days ago

In a recent press release issued by the Jammu and Kashmir government, it was said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti met Zaira Wasim. Mehbooba Mufti, as per the statement, appreciated Zaira and her family and spoke to them.

It is clear from Zaira's apologies on social media that she has been receiving a lot of flak ever since that meeting. One comment on her wall reads, "Hmm i agree but y are you meeting the culprits rather then you should meet victms like insha ,she is younger then you sis hope you understand what i said :) may god show you right path and may god protect you ameen (sic)"

I think some people bashed her for meeting MM and not the victims of last year violence. so she is apologizing. She might be afraid of militants targeting her family.

not surprised. whoever is projected as a role model for kashmiri youth and appreciated eventually ends up crying and apologizing . this reaction is because of the action of some regional elements. hate and stupidity really has no limit.

Poor girl had to apologise for acting in mainstream patriotic hindi film instead of pelting stones at the Army for killing a terrorist

Worse is that nobody will say a word in her support. The people who praised Meryl Streep's "courage" after her speech against Trump wont say a word in support of Zaira. People writing heartfelt messages during the Bangalore molestation case wont show any support for this girl.

The great Aamir Khan, who found India so intolerant & whose wife was "scared" to live in India, wont find the hounding of his minor costar intolerant.

Which is why these uber intellectual bollywood actors and liberals are not to be taken seriously ever. They take stand according to their own convenience & not because they actually feel any responsibility.
