Guys watched epi now and it's a quick post as typing from mobile.I loved the way Cvs showed the perception of Maya. Vandana and ayaan is seeing her through camera. And what is seen in camera is not real.so for them Maya is not right for arjun. The lens of their eyes sees saanjh as perfect. Doesn't matter what the lens of arjun sees.Because for saanjh arjun is duffer who needs to be shown what is right. And vandana believes that path of saanjh is correct even if it doesn't go with arjun ambition.

This is going to be the first time that I happen to disagree with you, Shruthi.
I think this camera symbolism is us delving too far into something that's not really there. I'd rather give more importance to the prophecies made in the show (what Maritius priest had to say, both Maya and Arjun's lamps getting burned) than just the symbolisms we tend to see in various scenes.

Even if it is, what Vandana feels about Maya has a lot more to do than what just Saanjh personally feels about Maya. Vandana's intuitions are quite strong and to back her intuitions up are various incidents.

She saw Maya's behaviour at Saanjh's parents party, she knows what transpired between Maya and Saanjh at the dinner, she's witnessed Maya's attempts to win Arjun over, she's on all occasions been subtly but quite clearly been warned by Maya, (almost threatened to be a part of her family at any cost and by any means), Ashwin too gave out hints. Add to that the pandit's warnings he gave to her and Suman.

After all of this, I do not expect a mother's alarms to not go off. Yes, she definitely should gather more material and evidence to truly be able to judge Maya as she's still unware of her past but having said that, I don't blame her at all for having shown or felt hesitancy, reluctance, doubt, disapproval and fear.

No disrespect meant to your views/opinions. I hope you know that. 😳

Ur post 👍🏼

Loved ur title ...

Vandana is a gone case 😆 no worries she can fulfill her dreams of having saanjh the dil via her son ayaan..

Arjun needs to also learn how to Handle his fren and his gf ... even though both the ladies need to learn to co exist in his life... no girl Will like if her bf thinks so much abt his fren ... i guess he Will learn IT but in a hard way ...

I completely agree with you!
Vandana and ayaan are seeing Maya in an indirect proposition... they don't see the real Maya that's why they don't have pleasant feelings when she is around
Maybe when they see the real Maya their feelings will change..
as per the candles lighting together shows that Maya's darkness may engulf Arjun.. it may burn him but it won't necessarily harm him or his family
Which is why the candles don't drown or get blown out... the flame only gets stronger ;)

At the tip of the of the fire the flames become one portraying that Arjun may dwell her as he wants her to be... and that's clearly shown with Maya mending her ways to attract Arjun towards her whether It be going to the tea stall or going and sitting in economy class...
Maya is willing to dwell with Arjun, but how Arjun will help her change is what needs to be seen...
it's all based on perception
You can take something like the flames burning as one in a positive way
Or take it in a negative way by saying that one flame burned the other
But at the end both flames combine with each other in each other's fire showing that they were meant to combine. ;)

vandana and ayan are seeing maya from the eyes of Saanjh, morover,Maya also isn't all goody-goody(that is expected frm a girl/dil).
Regarding burning of diyas,Maya's past will surely cause lot of pain to Arjun, at one time he will feel all alone, betrayed, but as even after burning the diya didn't dipped in water or get destroyed completely,on the contrary, it added it's flames to the fire trying to destroy it and in the process strengthened and stabilized the flames( of both the diyas).
The fire lit by first was made stable by the flames of the second, the second diya though damaged, didn't give up,and converted fire into light.
Similarly,I think Arjun though broken inside, will not give up and will convert the fire engulfing Maya into light.

@annie Saanjh behaved kind of similar way when Arjun proposed to Maya. Her throwing away that ring without even a thought what it meant to her father a man who has loved her dearly was equally psycho. The thing is such behaviour of Saanjh will be justified. I would have been fine if Saanjh had just removed that locket, but kept with her no, when she faced the unpleasant truth she too behaved wildly.
Second Arjun has proposed Maya or rather at this point for Arjun Saanjh is friend , Maya he wants to make his life partner. Right , wrong time will tell. But Maya is Arjun's choice. Saanjh tells I still love him. Sorry I dont emphatize with her. She can be heartbroken but she needs to accept reality and decide to move on. Still loving him is not psychologically correct as Arjun has made his choice
Maya didnt had any intention of threatneing Vandana. I still remember when she bent to touch Vandana's feet she was earnest, her mailicious face comes out when Vandana pulls her leg back. I cant justify that behaviour of Vandana just because she wants Saanjh as her DIL. She is seeing Maya as frightful so she will be as Ashwin will feed her half info. We have to look perceptions wholly and not partly. Vandana has the right to warn Arjun gently to look beyond what is seen, but she should not outright reject Maya. Vandana is again going with the funda I know what is right for you.

@incredible isha that was the high point, the lamp burned but they floated didnt drown. Also there is a point Arjun says I have written your name in destiny ( Kismat is the word) not fate( if it was fate taqdeer would have been used) . Destiny is positive while fate is negative. Destiny is when we accept the path which is pre determined and do actions in that path to bring lasting peace to ourselves. Fate is not accepting the path and cursing why this is happening to me. We need to understand every experience teaches us something and is needed to fulfill the destiny. Destiny is individual and just like your finger print it varies we meet people whether positive or negative to give us messages that can fulfill our destiny. if experience repeat that means you have not learnt the lesson correct

saanjh was emotionally a mess when she throw away the ring, but she did try to find it when she realised, not best decision i know, but most of us don't make best decision in our weak moment and this was her weakest moment. and about loving arjun, she just can't change her feelings, anyone will need time for this. she apologised to her father, saying he was always right and she should have listen to him, this doesn't show that she is not accepting the reality and will not try to move on, let's wait for more episodes.

I disagree. First, it wasn't Prem's ring, it didn't belong to him. It was a ring (essentially meant for Saanjh's love) that Suman had bought when Saanjh was a baby. When you're faced with a truth has the power to break something in you, you don't react pleasantly. You just don't because it hurts beyond what you and I can imagine. Different people react differently to different situations, just because we don't deem it fit, it doesn't necessarily mean they reacted 'wildly'. She threw the ring in spurt of anger and soon realized she probably shouldn't have. She even tried to get it back but it had gone out of reach.

She very well has accepted the reality. She's understood that it wasn't in her power to make Arjun fall in love with her and she has also accepted that Maya is Arjun's choice. Exactly why ever since she faced the truth, she hasn't once tried to separate them or come in between in any manner. But when you had loved someone so deeply, you don't just forget them in a day or two. That's just how the whole unrequited love works. If she still decides to silently love Arjun all her life, it's her choice. Just as we give Arjun and Maya the right to a choice, we gotta we the same right to Saanjh as well. And thus, I can empathize with Saanjh just as well as I can empathize with Maya.

Maya didnt had any intention of threatneing Vandana. I still remember when she bent to touch Vandana's feet she was earnest, her mailicious face comes out when Vandana pulls her leg back. Again, disagreed. Maya had every intention to make it loud and clear that she will be a part of Sharma family whether or not Vandana likes or approves of it. Vandana's basis to reject Maya as a DIL isn't solely based on her desire to have Saanjh as her DIL. Of course, it is a part of her reason but not the WHOLE reason itself. Yes, the moment when she reached out for Vandana's blessings, that was a genuine gesture but I don't blame Vandana for all the reasons I already mentioned in my first post. What Maya did right after that was what made me feel that she isn't even a position to seek her blessings as of now.

She proceeds to mock Saanjh over her unsuccesful attempts of reconciling the family (note : Maya's past story made Arjun realize his mistakes. Maya had no intention to tell her story in such a way that it makes Arjun go running to Vandana and acknowledge her as his mother. It was a good outcome of an unintended action. Maya's sole purpose in that moment was to just give an insight to Arjun of her side of truth) and for the nth time now commands Vandana, 'aadat dal lo'.

Maya's always been saying one thing over and over again to her, 'aadat dal lo' and that's not clearly how you win a prospective mother-in-law's heart. No, sorry. 😆

@soumya, annie you both agree right when faced with unpleasant things we react wildly. And it may not be the best thing to do also and we might regret later. Just like Saanjh did. Saanjh a girl who has been bought up with all love and care could go beserk to that extend, what about Maya who had no one to direct her and faced rejection after rejection.
Her point is rejection, Maya is afraid of rejection and to overcome that she started manipulation which is not right and I dont justify it either.
Maya wants acceptance. it is not Arjun's acceptance that girl wants to be accepted in the society. Her true self is not anyone acknowledging. So she learned to snatch which is not right. And I am completely of the view that she cannot keep Arjun with manipulation, she cannot snatch it from others, she cannot intimidate others to get what she wants though initially it may feel so.

I expect Saanjh to walk Maya's path of loss, rejection and forced acceptance of relations and show a path different to that of Maya. I call it path crossing.Unless you walk a similar path you cannot judge a person is my take. You have to walk and make different decisions. I am sure only Saanjh can win in real sense not Maya as I expect a scene where Maya will sit cuddled in front of Saanjh to save Arjun where her power will be of no use and only Saanjh's law can help. She getting Arjun in the end will be a courtesy done to her by Saanjh as Saanjh dont believe in snatching. That one earring was clearly evident of that.

Maya was wrong in telling you cannot take my place and again ignoring Saanjh in the flight. Maya doesnt know relations, Saanjh knows. It is a fact. Reality. But if someone can love or be kind to Maya and teach her she will listen. Unfortunately with her actions she intimidate others so that no one dares that with her or people like Pandit outright speak harshly to her.

Maya's darkness can be removed only if she makes an effort to accept the darkness. And Arjun is the one who can make her do that because when her darkness engulf him she will run for sure.
