I think I understand what you are trying to say. Unfortunately, I'm not able to connect with it much as I may of Indian origin but not Indian. I never had to face going to school or career and other stuff. In fact, I went through a career change after marriage. So, my parents supported me through what I wanted to do in the first place. After marriage my hubby and in laws supported with the new thing I wanted to do.

I, too didn't like Sharda camping in front of the Chauhaan house. That's wasn't self respect.

Lets see how the show progresses. Fingers crossed that it doesn't just become a saas bahu saga. I cant' stand that and would be the first person to leave this show.

I totally agree with you most serials start out well but after a few months they start going down hill.
