As the dawn breaks, the shimmering rays of sun travels through the earth, peering through glass window, it hit the eyes of a peacefully sleeping beauty. "Yeah.." She took the file & starts reviewing it.
She is Madhubala Malik, head accountant of Rk Industries. She joined the firm a year ago, in recruitment. She got the job in her final year. Its a big thing for a orphan girl like her. She dont know about her childhood, the day she gain sense she was in orphanage. They said she was left here when she was a year old.

"Done ?" One of her colleague probes.
"yep !" Madhu nodded closing the file & headed towards Rk's cabin, with her team mates tailing behind her.

*Knock-Knock*

"Come in" they heard a stern baritone giving permission to let them in. They walk in to find their chief, in the middle of the lavish cabin occupying a chair, writing something on the file with his hands on the glass table.
"Sir file" one of the member forward him the file with anxiety, while madhu stood at the corner in a row. Rk looks up from his file, and took the forwarded file,studying it. The breath of all members present stuck in their throat.
Rk, Rishab Kundra, the most successful business tycoon, having chains of companies. His face is one of the Greek god like, for which any girl would die, and girls do die to get in his arms. His well sculpted physique makes him more attractive to people inviting them, as mouth to fire. With his handsome looks comes his most ruthless behaviour, his devilish attitude.The people in his organisation is in terror of him. Rk is one combination of devil with immense powers.
"Good.. Carry on with it" he spoke in business like tone closing the file after reading it. All of the member release their long hold breath. Keeping the file on desk he looks up at madhu. His eyes has hidden predator looks which only madhu can identify, For all other he meant business.
"I want the report by To-Night" he said straight away in business language, but emphasized The last part. Madhu nodded her head. He changes his demeanour very fast, madhu thought. Just a few minutes before in elevator he was all over her & now there is no emotion in his voice. To-night, madhu knows what he meant by To-night.
"Out !" Rk dismissed them & they moved out of his cabin in a row.

Madhu went to her desk & sat with piles of papers, to record the needed information. She opened her drawer to take pen when her eyes caught the sight of a platinum bracelet which He has gifted her, more probably give her a day ago when she was making out with him, more appropriately pleased him. A smile cross her lips as she spell his name, Rk.
About a month after joining her work she met Rk. The Rk, his looks, his attitude, his aura, its all was like a trap & she was getting in his trap. "What ?" Madhu asked in daze.

"Please.." He showed her way out of his cabin with his hand. Replaying his words on her mind madhu was walking past him when she feels a pull on her wrist. She turns around to see Rk locking a beautiful bracelet on her wrist. He moved close to her & gave her a chaste kiss, after which madhu walks out of his cabin.

Presently, madhu smiled recalling it. She took out the bracelet from her drawer & wore it. Its been months she is with him. Taking their Relation a step ahead shouldnt be a big deal, after all she loves him. Her heart is already ruled by him. And though he dont say it, he too loves her. Well, THATS WHAT SHE THOUGHT.

"Weird question" he commented.
"Its been a year rk.." Madhu said softly shifting away from him to look at him.
"So.. It'll be another year too" rk said to her without a care, munching on his food.
"Rk.. What about marriage ?" She asked softly getting serious.
"whose ?" He questions.
"Ours" she replied feeling a pang of pain. Dont know why, she she is scared now.
"we have talked about it earlier too" madhu probes.
"Not me madhu.. Its u who talks about marriage" rk said giving her a serious look. Madhu became still as his words hit her. She is getting negative vibes. She blink her eyes breaking the daze gulping down the lump formed in her throat.
"how does it matter ?" Madhu asked taking a deep breath.
"i never said i will marry u" he spoke looking at her in her eye. Madhu look at him blankly, as her heart shattered in pieces.
"So.. This.." She dared to voice out trying to keep her burning tears at bay.
"Consensual sex" he replied crushing her heart, but still she somewhere hoped to hear that she means something to him. She hoped to believe that The flickers of emotions she saw in his eyes for her was not wrong.
"I.. What i mean to u, rk ?" She tried to sound strong when in real her voice is breaking.

Closing the door, madhu clamp her palms over her mouth & gave in to tears, sliding down against the door. Whats is she crying for ? And why ? She is a fool to not See things happening around her. She is a fool to never question Rk's action. She is a fool to believe that he love her, even if he had not spell that word for once. She is responsible for her condition. She is fool to think their 'Consensual sex' as their love moment. He was giving her his time, and she gave him her heart.. She is to be blamed. Everything came crushing down to her. This is the room she once submitted herself to him, the same place where she started weaving dreams & its the same place where are dreams shattered down & so is her life.
She shook her head & stands up wiping her tears. She feels suffocated, she cant be here, she don't want to be here. Wearing her dress she headed out of the bathroom. Avoiding his gaze, she pick up her purse & marched out of his apartment as soon as she can. He didn't stop her either.

Madhu walks on the deserted road, tears dont seems to stop & her legs gave up too. She sink down on the road crying out for the shattered life & her hope.

Madhu looks at her cell. Its a message from her colleague asking about a project file. Project, office, & she has to face him. She don't want to go to him, every time she would see him her unhealed wound would get deeper. But she has no choice either, she can't be in leave for more days. She already haven't went to office the last day. For her livelihood she need job, but until she got other job she has to work in his firm. She creeps out from her bed with pluppy eyes, & headache after crying tonnes, to start for the day.

"Madhu, Rk sir is calling for u" one of her team mate informed her. She is in office & she is trying her best to concentrate in her work & avoid HIM.
"Why ?" Madhu asked.
"U made some error while preparing reconciliation statement" came the reply. Madhu shook her head, clearing away her thought she strolled to his cabin.
*Knock-knock*
"Come in" came the reply & madhu walks in to see rk sitting on his chair playing with paper weight waiting for her.
"Give me half an hour, i will correct the statement" madhu said While avoiding looking at him.
"just half hour.. Why ? When u have whole time of mine..! And Half an hour is too less" Rk spoke to her smirking salaciously. Madhu glance at him registering his words.
"There is no error" he said as he close his cabin's door with a press of remote, getting no response from her.. Madhu clench her jaws & turns her go, BUT...
