desserts deewani...didn't like this masterchef...savory got less recognition than sweets...little to no savory element... :/ ...mousse, sugar substituent, etc...

I can't believe both of them thought of making desserts for the finale too and they got easy ingredients and no thoughts of even complex or interesting desserts. If you've made desserts almost the entire competition, shouldn't the desserts be different from the same old mouse/chocolate/berries/brownies and be more complex. It didn't feel like a finale level dish for either. It was such a disappointing finale.

^never felt like what it was last season...this time no audience...all in the kitchen...how i wish they prepared 3 course meal instead of just dessert...

I agree. A live audience and three course meal would've made it more like a finale level competion and more complex ingredients/styles. It didn't even feel like a finale episode both because of the simplicity and the lack of an audience. I think it would have made more sense if the audience got to taste and vote as well. But oh well, it has ended. I hope next season will be different.
