The water tank, logic & Anika
If Anika can float up easily and breathe outside the container. Then how do people drown in swimming pools & water tanks. I do agree with the illogical omnipresent camera, kidnapping a girl from Oberoi mansion and a lot more...including Anika's sold house mystery...BUT
Who said that Anika knows swimming? I kind of almost know swimming but I kind of drowned in a deep swimming pool. Is there space to swim, there is just enough space to stand. Who said that Anika isn't claustrophobic, she is afraid of darkness, can't she be of confined spaces??
IB is a TV show on starplus, please watch the other shows...I can't stand a minute of most of them, IB is heaven. Please check some shows in malayalam channels, I'm sure you'll puke to death. We can't complain not even a word!!

I agree... I never received swimming lessons so I don't know how to swim. I definitely wouldnt be able to "float" up in a situation like this.

Annika has not been shown swimming around the pool so it is possible she does not know how to swim. The way Annika and Shivaay walk around in the pool it's clear its a shallow pool.

It's impossible to float up in that small water tank. in precap she actually drown in the tank because the water level went up..I love IB it's the most awesome show... shivika is heaven.

Anika once said that where rich people think about romance when it rains, she is worried about the roof leaking. So if she never had time to enjoy rain, where would she get the time to learn how to swim? Also at a time like this when someone is being terrorized, even someone who knows swimming would forgetting everything out of terror and shock. And even if we puts aside whatever I have just said, I don't understand how everyone observe bloopers/mistakes rather than the performance and emotions being shown on the screen. All of us know that Surbhi has shot this sequence with extremely high fever, yet instead of applauding her for giving such an amazing performance when she wasn't well, everyone is coming up with posts regarding logic. Kudos to Surbhi, Nakul and CV's for executing and performing such a difficult scene so effortlessly.

Exactly, she was having viral fever, and she shot for 3hrs. My grandad was a fluid mechanics professor, he told me that you won't just float up like that, until you try so hard, you need to be really physically fit and mentally sound at that point of time to do something similar, still its very difficult to survive, you will tire up easily. While shooting the sequence itself Surbhi kind of drowned, they were using rope & crane system. So all the intelligent people in the forum, today proved that we can forgive the team for certain gulogics, coz now this theory, what you guys came up with is illogical!!!
