Only Rakesh Roshan and her defied the mafia, Rakesh Roshan got shot in the stomach for it. Preity was putting her life at HUGE risk, still she went ahead and did it. What is calling out nepotism compared to that? she lived with her man Marc Robinson in those days and never hid it..she broke the bubble and went out and bought a cricket team..

Preity never had to battle nepotism because which star kid was there when she was around. A handful, Kareena, Karisma, tushaar. Preity never had to struggle because of a star kid. Never had to compete to get a break. And her strong image would hv dissuaded would be casting couchers..

How did Deepika, alia, anushka katrina, sonam conform to 70 year old notions? I'm confused here. Can you enlighten as to what they did?😕

Preity did not call the cops. She was the only one who went to the police station and gave her statement against them when they asked her to. Salman and SRK among many others made excuses and didnt turn up. The police in return called her 'the only man in BW'. But PZ was uncomfortable with that as she knew all the powerful male actors will take offence to that and blasted the police instead. That was the state of women in BW. Even today women are afraid to take credit for their own successes. Or to point out how they bring the moolah many a times. Kangana perhaps is the only one to say it. And Vidya and few other non mainstream actresses in their own subtle ways. But when someone is brash like Kangana it is noticed more and gives hope and courage to others. The lily whites have all come up thanks to backing of a superstar mentor or producer/director mentor. Perhaps thats why they dont have courage to take credit for their success over their male costars, Kangana is the only one who didnt have that advantage.

Yes kangana is a true feminist
When HR was socializing with likes of PC, kat and deepika
Madam Kang had this to say about them

Aur jin ladkiyon ko parties mein kiss karke ya kamar mein haath daalke photo khicha raha hai tu, kya samajhta hai hero ban gaya? Yeh ladkiyan public property hai. Yeh tujhe kya, mujhe bhi de dengi. Zyada excited mat ho. Yakeen nahin hai to shart laga le. This

I have lived all my life in America (many times in places where it is a given that a white male will always defeat a minority or woman). I chose male dominated classes and a male dominated profession. I have first hand experience with people (male AND sadly women) distrusting my abilities because of their bias and so unaware of their bias they would deny it if challenged. Sexism is alive and well throughout much of America. Not all but many of the people who voted for Trump would have voted for any man rather than any woman.

The number one issue in the rust belt states was Trade. Trump hammered Clinton on NAFTA and TPP. Clinton said the TPP was the gold standard and lobbied for it over 40 times. After Bernie hammered her she had stated she was against but she never hammered it. She had a terrible record on trade lobbied for the Columbia Trade deal after promising not to do it in 2008. Lobbied for Panama Trade deal which lead to a whole bunch global corruption. In the same way you feel A male democrat had good chances. Many feel Warren had good chances. She was the main force behind stopping he TPP. Very powerful force behind stopping other one sided trade deals that are negotiated behind closed doors with Wall St executive from forming. The only problem with her is she is too intellectual as a Harvard Proffesor. Again many people had good chances but no other mainstream democrat was allowed to run because of Clinton cronotion. It took an independent to challenge her.

Again look at data. Exit polls reveal issues not sexism. Many people call the rust belt voters racist too for supporting Trump. Even though they voted for Barack "Hussein" Obama twice. Base it the analysis off of something concrete.

I do agree that sexism has to some extent played a part in harming Clinton. At the same time Obama has dealt with much scrutiny due to racism.

I consider Kangana's feminism as a mix of both. Its part of her image building exercise and she uses it as her brand value.

Its genuine when she talks about real inequality in the industry specially the difference in the pay of male and female actors. Even a flop actor like Saif and Shahid get paid more in a movie than a super hit female star. This is the worst truth in the industry. In the feild of branding a male actor is always paid more than a female actor. This is my experience.

Sometimes I feel her feminsm is an opportunism also. Kangana was not a masala actor with an excessive fan following few years back. She used feminism to gain sympathy from women and to become popular in the feild of advertisement. She portrayed herself as a bechari to gain sympathy. This ploy as increased her popularity for movies and endorsement which means more money for her.

Kangana does not want equality really though. She wants supremacy - but not for all women - for herself. There is a video on YouTube from the Delhi Reebok thing where she says she wants to outdo her lover, father and husband. I don't think she is a feminist, I don't think she's trying to improve the world of women. I resent it when she pretends she is. I don't think she even likes most other people (male or female) or at least views them as lesser than she is - which may have begun because more than one person has truly hurt / victimized her. It's just that she tells so many lies, I can't trust any more of her sob stories anymore. Maybe she is just a sociopath.

She is a true Narcissist who loves herself.

Kangana neither understands what feminism stands for nor is a feminist. I don understand how these so called feminists think feminism means to hate men or to attack men. Feminism came to rise to make sure females are treated EQUALLY as men. Not ABOVE. Hating men or stalking him and giving him hard time(in case of Kangana), doesnt make her a feminist. Her so called feminist actions doesnt make her look any different from MCPs who wants to rule over women. And also, if she truly believed in feminism, she wouldnt have spoken bad about other actresses and labelled them as public property. Like ranjini(rogerrocks) mentioned, this is just a pr image for Kangana just like the other bollywood stars. My only wish is such people STOP using this feminist card so that people dont have a bad opinion on the true feminists out there fighting to achieve EQUAL status for women in this world.

True

Kangana's feminism is just an image building exercise.
