Today's episode highlight was Dev and only Dev for me.
Why?
I have never seen a person who digs a hole around him, looks around and sees that it's getting deeper, but because it will take effort to climb out of the hole, he keeps digging hoping the gravity will reverse and he will fly out of the hole smelling like roses...
Honestly, he reminds me of Atlas who has the burden of the world in his back which he is tired of carrying but there is a chair behind him and a stand where he can put the world down, but of course, he is busy cursing fate and not taking the easier and much less stressful option.
Really, that's a heck of a fascinating character.
As I said before. Life is simple. Us humans make it complicated.
Today Dev tells Ishwari and Sona that he will go to temple (Ishwari probably already decided that the upcoming imaginary baby must be God incarnate to drag his daddy to temple even before he is born).
He does go to temple, climbs stairs, only to blame God for not turning his lies into truth and for him continue to deceive his mother and wife.
I think God must be thinking, "You mad or what bro? You decided to lie because you don't have the courage to speak the truth and stand by your wife firmly if your mother refuses to accept her and you are blaming me for this pile of sh*t? Seriously? Since your mother is the Goddess, why not bribe/threaten her to fix everything?"
Anyhoo, Dev does the next best thing. In some cultures, people consider Doctors as representation of God because they save lives. So Dev went and bribed that God, as in Sonakshi's doctor to do her fertility treatment without Sonakshi's knowledge. How he will explain Sonakshi's period or lack of symptoms of pregnancy while fertility treatment is going on, I'd like to know.
I am surprised he didn't borrow from another show's popular track where the hero decided to artificially inseminate his ex-wife to give his current infertile wife a gift of baby...
TV couples are so amazing, no? TV heroes lie/cheat/bribe and do all sorts of illegal work that will be straight cut way to jail in real life with a divorce degree stuck on their arse, but TV land heroines are so grateful for that treatment that they think they have been blessed by God to get a husband like that instead of dumping their a$$ and taking them to cleaners in divorce court... Really, how can a wife/woman repay that enormous favour?
Sonakshi shares her pregnancy news to everyone even though as a doctor she should know that first three months are risky. Ishwari advises her to keep the news to just family because of the risky first three months. Now I know where Dev's brain went. Ishwari has borrowed it. Me thinks Mummy and Sonny uses one brain between the two.
Sona's investigation continues where she plans to catch Ayan and the other girl out on a date. Of course they can claim that they have gone out as cousins and Sonakshi will get humiliated once more. But now since she is carrying the imaginary God-baby, may be insult from Ishwari will be less. She might think she is pregnant, but who needs to hire someone else to do this task when superwoman can even reveal the truth while delivering baby?
Radha claims she keeps her daughter-in-law in control in front of Ishwari and Elena provides a sample of just how much. While Elena's selfishness is limitless, but she is no one's doormat unlike Sonakshi.
Precap: Dev tells Sona that he is in a meeting. Later Sona sees Dev in Hospital... The doctor is certainly hotter than Sona. May be Dev can bribe her to have his baby with her and pass it off as Sona's baby since she has turned dumb since marriage anyway...
