Tia as usual perfect relevance 👏 You know so many stories I envy the kids around you 😳

What my take on life is quite simple - If someone can lie FOR you, he can lie TO you... If someone can hide FOR you, he can hide FROM you.. If someone can gossip WITH you, he can gossip ABOUT you (exception I believe my hubby here though, I am his only gossip partner he says 🤣)..

Hi Tia, you write so well and this is the first time I'm commenting here.. I'm new to this show to begin with. My friend suggested this being a very good story and I was watching YHM at that time and got really disgusted with the surrogacy plot there and quit it and swear never to watch any desi shows ever. But when I found this story has Bengali culture couldn't help but wanted to give it a shot. Not a Bengali but love the culture.

However the current episode brought back the night mare from YHM where husband challenges God and wants to play God gets wife signature deceptively on surrogacy consent forms. And doctor steals her eggs and they impregnate his adulteress ex wife. That story ended for me there..

And today reading Dev trying to do the same thing disappointed me and this seems to be heading in the same direction made me question what's it with indian viewers and the regressive shows getting TRPs. Are viewers not ready to watch a strong and sensible FL and a balanced relationship between wife and husband or this is tried and tested formula that the CVS don't want to change.

Feels like another good show down the drain for me.. better to stick to American politics as the president elect throws stupidest statements to freak everyone out seems enough to rile me up every day. Who needs shows like this..

Once again thanks for putting your views out and I loved reading them.. i look forward to reading your take everyday and know that you have one more fan..😉

You are so absolutely bang on point.

Yes, if someone can lie and cheat someone else for you, then can do the same to you.

That's why I could never appreciate Sonakshi being fine with Dev's lies. He just got away with it too many times.

Thanks so much for reading my posts. I don't know how long I can continue them because as you said, this show is taking too unrealistic turn that is just unpalatable for me. I have been watching the show from the beginning and it was an excellent show. The episodes are available on YouTube if you want to binge watch. But somehow ever since they did a hurried patch up between the leads and got them married the storyline had gone more and more regressive and surreal to watch.

And here I thought US politics was crazy. I hope they find Russian hacking and kick the orange baboon out of Washington... We can't even get a do over for the storyline in the show.

You know what ! Sona should do a Lorena Bobbit on Dev like right now ! The bas***d and his mom deserve it. Na rahega bansuri (pun intentended) na bajega inka gana !

When we are all mourning over the death of such good show, I remember amidst all Dev's bullying, short-tempered typical TV angry young man heroes, this guy stood as an exception in my eyes only through few amazing scenes -

1. His waiting for Sona for 5 long hours and treating her with respect even though he could. 5 hours isn't a joke. 😊

2. His respect for Sona in front of GKB and Maa explaining her job profile and not to confuse her with cook. 😛

3. His simplistic lines like - 'May be I am not able to see this from a point of view which you can'. How powerful.

4. Last but not the least - His dealing with Natasha 👏. Honesty gives strength and pride to a character. 👏

Today when I see Dev, I see just cowardliness, weakness, stubbornness, rigidness and fake promises. The man with his words is gone. 🤢

Apparently , this sissy was aware that his mom was misbehaving with Sona when he created the closet drama and the jhula compalining to ma ! 😡

Wow ! Knowing all this he did not even wait for her to cut the cake and now wants to impregnate her quickly with the help of harmones/drugs to plesae his mom. My grand father would not even let that happen this to his cows even if they give more milk after they have the calf! They are against giving harmones to the chickens as well ! Although some farmers do it to produce more eggs but ethical farmers dont !

She is only 26 years old and sexually active for less than 2 months so only 2 mensttrual cycles ( and thanks to constant knocking on the door, puja drama they may not even hit it on the right dates in those 2 cycles ) No sane doctor would starts injecting a person with all the fertility drugs and would ask to try for natural conception for at least 6 months.

Omg ! With the birthday epidode , I thought I had seen the lowest of the low in human dececeny !

Tia, i did binge watched the episodes😛 started skipping with Eshwari's selfish love.. atleast in YHM no one made Ishita not worthy other than her husband😡.. here DEv hiding her reports to today wishing for his mom's happiness did it for me.. i will hang on until Sonakshi kick on mom and son duo and walk out, but now I'm scared to watch..stick to your reviews..

Wish we could kick the orange baboon out and ship him to Russia..
