Weird acting choice on Nakuul's part. No one else agrees? Like why a STUTTER? As it is Nakuul also mumbles his dialogues until he's yelling. And his growl sounds forced to me, nowadays. I don't blame Nakuul, he's probably too ashamed to speak the lines that establish his SSO character assassination too loudly, given what dreck he's been asked to perform of late. But bhai, why the stutter? Sunne ke liye headphones chaiye!!
On Tumhari Pakhi, kasam se at least SSO aur ASR se behtar dialogue maarte hai Iqbal. Its also a naam khoon khandaan issue, a society image issue for him and how he hates bringing in a village girl as his wife, who turns out to be so much more. Also, the FL Shraddha is REALLY good. I cannot watch a show with a bad heroine. I CANNOT. the FL is the heart and soul, if she is a ham actor, her pretty face does nothing for me. But with Tumhari Pakhi, Shraddha is totally underrated, because she is a modern day woman, who chooses to learn and adapt, and not limit herself to what she was brought up to be.
It didn't become a huge trp hit because of course TRP Aunties could not UNDERSTAND a traditional woman who valued the heck out of her relationships and STILL had a backbone. Pakhi was an amazing heroine, she was smart and kind and still valued herself, her own identity and really LEFT him, and ESTABLISHED her self respect above her pati parmeshwar when he was an ass. Also (right upto the Singapore track--please note--SINGAPORE track) the makers handled the hero's realization without turning him into a mahaan saint. Afterwards like I said, Iqbal Khan left. But till then--great.
Not to mention, there were parallel leads that actually had their own story line, and weren't wallpaper waiting for the mahaan FL to make it all better. So if you want realistic, close sibling relationships, there is Anshuman's older sister Lavanya and her husband-- Girish who live next door and are his family. EXCELLENT acting there as well, and that parallel couple had their own development and growth without fading away as the main story progressed. Perfectly balanced, interesting and very realistic concepts. Plus a cute kid--who was one of the naughtiest but most excellent kid actors ive ever seen onscreen. I HATED him initially (as we were supposed to) and cried like a baby in the end when he gets his "happy family." OOFF.. Good show.
