One thing in common in mostly ALL Serial!!

Hey everybodddeee (Big Hug) to each & everyone of you 😛 some may remember me some may not know me, but hey I'm an old member of this forum.. some may have known me as YellowDiamond aka Di aka Dianne 😳 I'm seeing some new members here n hey it's nice to meet you all 😉

So after a very very long time I'm making a post 😛
I observed that in every serial there is a villain 😡 I guess there is always someone or something trying to prevent positive actions, meaning there is always someone trying to separate the "girl" from getting close to the "boy" or vice versa. Typical Hindi soaps Lol
Do share your views, opinions etc... oh by the way Seasons Greatings to everyone 😉 😛 muwahhh

Di 🤗 So good to see you here. 😳 😉 yes, I agree. Every story has a villain. Maybe to add a little spice; and maybe 'coz some emotions are only triggered by presence of a villain 😆 But sometimes, some stories do not need a villain...depends on plot of a story.

Right Di Nd most of the stories have suvae, angry, arrogant but deep down good @ heart male lead, Nd equally strong headed but from lower socio-economical class female lead giving a reality check to male lead. Then male lead falling head over heels for female lead Nd then comes our villain Nd begins the Chase of twists, Nd turns Nd more illogical twists in the name of creativity Nd their comes never ending or abruptly ending Indian soaps.

Hi! Thanks for the big 'hug' ! At the present situation [ with our Forum limping its way ! ] each and every member of this forum deserves a 'HUG' ! Thanks for 'brightening' up the forum. Hope you are here to stay 'put' !! Every serial has a villain , for the obvious reason ... TO DRAG ON THE SERIAL TO BOREDOM , most of the time !!!!!

Yep agree completely... depends on the plot!! i don't know if u ever noticed but when something major happens in the the camera MUST focus on each and every individual in the room before anything can happen next 😆 is it me or do you find it annoying also 😆 it's like the earth stood still 😆 I guess it depends on the producers!! I know you may not have time to look at aerials now, but past experience, is it wat ppl in India in general expect?! You know, the whole focus ting 😆 cause I don't seem to understand why they do it 😆 hope u can give me some clearance on this 😃

Charu did point out the right thing ...a villain triggers emotions which wouldn't have been there if he weren't there , sometimes the villain is the one who creates a situation all together.

But now , to be honest it's high time daily soaps understand that we are done with the same old stories...there ain't at all any new concepts these days🤢😕

By the way there's another thing common in all serials , especially if it's love story... then there has to be ---

😆 Marie, I'm afraid to say 😆 they need some original ideas like you all here in this forum!! Same ole same ole story over and over again!! Same kind of plot!! I wish someone could see our forum writers work n use them... our forum writers do a fantastic job in creating and writing and you know it baffles me the see what they come up with (the writers n producers of serials)... I wish someone cud look in to some of these forum stores n take them reality!! Basically, it's one thing over n over!! But you know one thing I wud be grateful for is the creation team EMA!! Because if it weren't for them, I wud not have met all you lovely ppl here 😉 and for that I will forever be grateful!

Lol so true!! Shoona, how r u?! I guess sometimes circumstances happens that leads to this but hey, everything happens for a reason 😉
You know I like watching love stories especially the part where boy meets girl, girl get angry lol for whatever the reason 😆 boy try's to win her over 😆 then there comes the love n confession part n after that everything goes down!! Nothing interesting happens after!! lol I love the way you state everything in one go 😆 After EMA I have not followed any other serial! I got completely turned off! Do my think I can look at any serial again!! Sad to say!

Awww I'm here 😉 don't know about the staying put part 😆 but I'll be around 😉
lol I think without a villain everything will just be plain n simple, you know everything will go smooth n i guess some serial try's to relate to real life, although I find some scenarios ridiculous!! They over do it at times. Villains -(Mother in law, sisters, brothers... lol it's either one or the other in the family) 😆 I guess it's a common thing in what creatives, producers etc seem to make their serial based on! Do lots of ppl in India look at these serials?! I know for a fact in Trinidad where I'm from, All types of races are glued to their TV at certain times 😆 it's unreal! These serials are addictive 😆 even my mom n aunties are hooked 😆

I think what's stupid and is the reasons for good shows that end up messed up is the Dumb male lead and a stupid third wheel.
