Well...

I have been ranting and ranting for the past few weeks...

I felt the need to make a post on this..

This serial started off with a beautiful promo of an old couple giving each othet support on an escalator..

And screen shifts to two relatively newbies..with tag line.. kya dega atharv vividha ka saath..

This promo was quite intriguing and i started watching the show..though i did not like the idea of atharv claiming to get engaged to kk's daughter ..

The playout kept pulling me towards the show..

Then women empowerment, the family of chulbuli vividha..

The dairy farm.. atharv saving guddi.. his way of empowering vividha gradually..

Sujatha trying to empower uma..

Silly fights dadi guddi nok jhoks..the list would never end..

My tv had gone for a repair ..and 15days later when i switched starplus at 5 30.. i could barely recognise the show..

Then saw vividha.. and assumed to be a leap of sorts ..as we kind of had an idea vividha gets married to some ravish agnihotri..as the articles claimed..(though its vashisht)

Then began a myriad of events...superstitions.. supernatural elemnts...i gave up on this show..

Thought guddi's re entry would bring some freshness

BAM!!!!!

Guddi gets murdered and rest is history..

I keep watching on and off..

Though i am not a hardcore vitharv fan...(i am not a member nor am i active on ATs..) i did like the pairing..

Now i feel disappointed with all of patnaiks shows..which i followed till last week have become same crap..

Beyond dreams... its a good bye from me..

If u cant execute plot properly dont publicize it to be unique..thers no difference left between your shows and other saas bahu shows..

Anu, you have described phase one and phase two of the show.

Yash Patnaik has said in his interviews that the story supposedly starts in phase two, with the entry of the step brother and his family. Phase one was supposed to set up ViTharv's love story and shown in such a way that no one could bear seeing the two lovers apart.

Perfectly well thought out plan.

That has gone horribly wrong!!

The problem is that phase one was so beautiful, so amazingly acted by the leads, their chemistry was so magical that to the shock of the Patnaiks, Beyond Dreams and Star Plus, ViTharv became unbelievably popular. So much so, that the main story and the entry of the parallel lead was delayed by not one, not two, not three but FIVE months!

And when ViTharv got separated, that episode not only trended on twitter but it pretty much shook the audience.

And then the Vashishts entered. A half- baked family with Zero personality. And no one cared about them. Nor still cares about them.

And that's the problem Anu. When a new family comes in, there should have been an introduction to the family so we got to know the characters. But instead, the parallel lead was made so mahaan that it actually looked unbelievable. And instead of focussing on the characters, we got molestation tracks, shraaps, murder mysteries and now terrorists.

And on top of that, the attempted love triangle fell flat on it's face. Thankfully that seems to have died a natural death.

The Patnaiks right now, are just pandering to the TRP's which have unfortunately risen due to these horrible tracks.

And unfortunately, until Atharv gets his memory back, we are going to have to bear with this nonsense.

I'm waiting this out patiently because at least I know that sooner or later, we are going to get ViTharv back! Then my show will be back on track!

Having watched two shows with 3 leads.. around same time.. i feel d difference.. in one show..new family is being introduced slowly ...and here it has been force fed..

And thats where patnaiks failed..🥱

I agree with all of it, nothing to add. They have got a bit carried away with the mystery crap, I guess it got them ratings but then they need to get back on track...hopefully soon!

I think the actors too need to express their displeasure.. specially the ones who are playing characters of dumb new family .. dont they feel bad for having nothing to act..

Or money is more important than creative satisfaction..

Anyways its their personal.thing😆

100% already quit watching their other 2 shows and now it's time for this one. They always have a good start and when they start to get TRPS they ruin everything even though the real story starts at phase 2 the makers have poorly executed from the day of the wedding. By adding so many characters with no character introduction or in-depth and straight to the nonsense sexual assaults on Vividha just so everyone knows there was 2 atharv's like W*F. Then 2 murders later and killer still not found (KK, Chitu or Abheer behind it)... know a terrorist wife out for revenge. Waiting for next year when the story goes on track.
