I am not sure if I should be happy to see today's episode or sad.
On one hand, the family bonding I was expecting to see was there. Both family behaved with genuine respect and without taunting each other like a blended family should from the beginning of a marriage.
On the other hand, it was not because of their own children who are present in their life and are reason enough to be respectful, but for a baby who is not even a reality yet.
That gives me an indication that the behaviour might change if the baby is not there.
I find it surprising that while a new baby is a good news, so is a newly wedded bride and a newly wedded groom.
Why rejoice and party at wedding and then treat the person who got married like unwanted pest?
I have never seen anyone celebrating a baby's birth and then treating the baby as unwanted after the baby being born.
Isn't marriage also a birth of a new life and new relationships?
Why don't we treat a new bride (can't say the new groom is not treated as if he hung the moon) like we treat a newly born baby, with love, tenderness and gentle guidance instead of taunts, warnings and insults?
Ishwari asked Sonakshi's parents' favourite cuisine and showering her love on her. If every mother-in-law did that with her new daughter-in-law since the day she gets married, women will never cry when leaving her parents' house.
I wish, this had happened the day after the wedding, not today.
Poor Dev was pleasantly surprised to see family bonding and thought it was because of Sonakshi. But when Sonakshi announced they are expecting, his face was one of utter shock.
Dev, my dear, this is why I say that lying never solved anything. You have dug a trap so big that you can't even crawl out of it. If I were you, I'd start thinking pronto starting with coming clean about what you know. The more you let this go on, the worse the news is going to sound and the more it will hurt everyone.
Your lie has grown so massive that now it's no longer is just about you and Sonakshi, now it include her family and yours. As time will pass, it will just grow bigger.
You wanted to save Sonakshi from hurt from what would have been a shock, but it might just turn into a fatal wound. Time's running out.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Hello peeps. How was your weekend?
Well, my last weekend and the next one are just filled with Christmas parties.
Not to mention, I have an exam to sit for on Dec 22nd. Ergo, I will be working full time, studying, partying all at the same time. So that means, I will be sleep-deprived, bleary eyed, zombie version of myself.
Trust me, if I had to pay for my course, I'd have never done it. But the work is paying so gotta do it.
The good news is, that I am not working or studying during Christmas week. Yay!!!
So if you see less comments/posts for me. That would be the reason. However, feel free to use my posts (whatever I post) for discussion zone. Hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas and New year...
