guney/vural has a hit and run accident where he kills a man.
kuzey/kivance takes the blame and goes to jail for it.
he does so because of his parents pressure.
he is a looser with no future and guney is the star kid in the family from an ivy league school who will eventually become the bread winner so for the family's sake kuzey takes the blame.
kuzey also likes the same girl named cemre that is his brother's girlfriend however when kuzey goes to jail his brother breaks up with that girl. its also a love story about how kuzey and cemre will eventually become a couple.
kuzey gets harassed by some thug in the jail and has an issue with him, when he comes out of the jail that thug basically finds and targets him and his family and trys to ruin them. kuzey becomes a boxer then dabbles in some small business during the course of the show which the thug will try to ruin at every step. basically anything kuzey does there is this stalkerish thug waiting to ruin him. the thug is like the kamolika in the show.
the drama is entirely based on kuzey and guney is a side character not the lead. only saw 1st season on and off as its very boring in some parts in the dubbed version and kept loosing track with so many unnecessary arcs thrown in.
dint see second season as it got cancelled due to poor ratings. will catch it on zindagi as urdu1 refuses to play it citing it as the worst financial decision along with karadayi for their channel.
it was an okay show, fatmagul, aski memnu and kara para ask are much much muuucchh better when seen dubbed. but it is not a bad show. better than what is shown on telly these days. however i think it will do better on zindagi as the dubbing is good it is something new for the viewers. by the time it aired here the glitz and attraction of turk shows had already faded,
