He had knocked the door several times, but none responded, and the bell was switched off, probably she wasn't at home, but it was already late. He takes out the spare key from his pocket unlocks the door, and finds all the lights were switched on, to his surprise and silent sobs.
He gets worried and opens his bedroom to find his wife sobbing; he gets worried, and rushes towards her and gently rubs her arm and says- what's wrong Jo? She looks at him with anger and says- stay away from me I'm not talking to you. It's all because of you. I hate you.
He looked at her with bewilderment, as far as he could recollect he had done nothing wrong to make her upset. He looks at her and thinks- Ya! Allah this how you punish me for loving a lady like crazy? Jalal get ready for Jodha ko manofy, episode no 7000 something, and he gave a light laugh.
He has cranky wife no doubt, but that was one of the major reasons why he fell for her. He looks at her and she was just staring at him, she was upset but why? He didn't know.
He says- what's wrong Jo? Tell me. I'll make up for this mistake, I promise... She looks at him and crosses her arm and says- you can neither undo it nor make up for it. Jalal says- aisi kya khatta ki hai humne(what offence have I done?) She looks at him and makes a cute pout and says- gunah nahi gunah-e- azeem hain. (Offence it's the greatest of offences)
Jalal says to himself- tayar ho jao Jalal halal ho ne ke liye. ( get ready Jalal for getting slaughtered)Jodha asks- what are you thinking? Jalal teasingly says- bakhra tayar hai halal hone ke liye begum Sahiba. (The goat is ready to be slaughtered Begum Sahiba)Jodha punches his arm, Jalal rubs his arms and says- that hurts you're growing stronger and stronger day by day. And gently cups her face and again she shoves away his hands.
Jodha says- I said don't touch me. Jalal says- why are you shoving me off Jo? She looks at him and says- why? Seriously it's your fault. You promised me one year, itni bhi kya jaldi thi tumhe(what was the hurry). Jalal looks at her and says- seriously Jo, what's wrong I can't understand, trying to remember his promise, but fails to do so.
She says- everyone says the pros of love marriage not the cons. How long are we married? Jalal says- 8 months. She says- yes, 8 months and you made me pregnant. Go to hell... He registered her statement and started laughing loudly, recalling the whole melodrama done by his favourite actress aka his Jodha.
Jodha shakes him and says- have you lost it or are you in shock like me? Jalal says smilingly - you're pregnant? Jodha says- Yup! Jalal says- and I'm going to be a father? Jodha says- of course who else would be the father of my child. Hollow man? Or Mr X? He hugs her tightly and says- thank you Jo, I love you.
She says gasping - Jalal I'm choking. He immediately breaks the hug and gently cups her face and says- what wrong, should we go to the doctor? She says- do hell with the doctor, it's you, and you hugged me so tightly, control your excitement, and did you forget I'm not talking to you; it's your fault. I was having a perfect life then you came I fell in love with you and now I'm pregnant my life's ruined, all because of you and I'm just 26.
Jalal smiles at her, he knew it she was nervous, sudden news, and she wasn't ready yet. And that's why she was going bonkers. He couldn't help but smile and he replies- It's not completely my fault, I need my partner in crime. Without her I'm not a criminal my Lord. She blushes hearing his statement and composes herself, and says- see this is what you do? Talk lovely dovey and trap me. And I'm just a fool falling right into your trap. Jalal says- after all you belong in the trap, and now calm down and tell me what the matter is?
She says- what if I'm not a good mother? I don't even know how to change a nappy leave rearing a child. Jalal gently encircles his arms around her and says- even I don't know how will be like a father? It'll be great Jo, until we've each other, we'll learn together. She says- you're sure? He says- of course no doubt.
She looks at him and says- and... He says- and... She looks at him and says- Jalal you won't love me when I become fat like... He smiles at her feminine worries and says like- what? She replies- like a ball, ladoo, elephant whatever... He says- how can I not? Each day my love increases for you. She looks at him and says- promise? He says- promise until my last breath...
He looks at her and her eyes were shut and she was getting cosy in his arm, trying to sleep. He smiles and thinks sure his life is going to be a roller coaster ride. His already cranky wife is just going to be crankier, and he was just waiting for more adventure to unfold... and he gently kisses her lips
Eight months later she was heavily pregnant, and there they were having a mini- war, because she wasn't ready to go to the gynecologist, because her feet ached. He finally says- that he'll carry her. She asks- whether he will be able to do so? Because she's a two in one package. He smiles and nods, he carries her down the stairs and she says- I'm fat right? Jalal says- no you're just cute. She says- I'm jealous? Jalal says- of whom? She giggles and says- of course myself, I've got such a loving hubby. Jalal stops and kisses her forehead and says- could you stop being adorable? And stop making me fall deeper and deeper in love with you? She says- A Big NO...
They both smile and leave for meeting the gynecologist. He had a hard time in the past months, but yes, the journey of them together as far as now was beautiful, and he knew it would be in the future also.
