Dangal official video of title track!!

Wow. This looks incredible. I have loved everything they have put out so far apart from the music. I think it works as a marketing ploy but if they put the songs in the movie, it is going to be jarring and take away the impact.

The performances look spectacular, the story is gripping; then what is the need to put unnecessary songs over them. They should stick with the what they were doing at the start of production, no songs.

Anyone else feel the same?

Coming back to the video, the interactions between Aamir and the two girls are so well done. Not just the dialogue but the facial and body gestures too.

The way the look at each after she slams her opponent near the end. Its brilliant, adds another dimensions to the movie, makes the characters real and then you get the emotional pay-off.

And the wresting is an important part of the movie unlike Sultan. They have put an effort in the choreography to make it believable, instead of just tossing people all over the place. This is how you do it.

The girls especially Fatima(she had more to do in the trailers) seem to be solid actresses which a refreshing change. I am impressed with how good they are, and its just the trailers.

And Aamir, hats off man. He continues to surprise, to evolve. This might be his best movie and performance yet and that says a lot considering what he has done over the years.

Again not a great song but saved by the videos. Good acting by ball especially the girls.

How I wish the movie came earlier this year. All the wrestling and girl-vs-boy game etc are giving major deja vu of Sultan and CDI.
Somehow the novelty factor seems missing.
