Hey guys so I Was thinking about Maya's Past
Aisa kya hai that Maya doesnt want arjun to know

My cousin got this idea in my head:

So our prediction was that what if Ashwin had forcefully got Maya married to some disgusting guy, maybe for money or whatever reason...
And she got abused by her father and her husband, which is why she stayed away from guys in the beginng she was reluctant to talk to Arjun much
what if her husband was very bad, and one night something happened which Maya got blamed for...
idk just a theory guys

No child marriage guys!!! Lemme clarify
Maybe this was like 5 years back lolll

So everyone thinks that guy is dead so Maya is framed but arjun sees him and proves Maya's innocence by proving the guy is still alive
Lemme know your views :) 😆

Dt looks far fetched, coz shez very young n i guess d main incident which drove her to b d way she is happened wn she was just 9.

Beyhad is a progressive show, so I don't think they will bring child marriage.

My theory is she was physically and may be sexually asualted by her dad. Now why he did that can have many reasons. Either Ashwin is mental so he simply abused his daughter or Maya herself had some mental illness from childhood which instead of treating Ashwin made worse by punishing or abusing her. She must have did some wrong due to her disease and each time he would have abused to correct her. That is why even in flash back he called her "INSANE" and she was locked in room. It seems to be a case of some disease gone worse due to neglect by parents. Both Ashvin and Janvi are worst parents🥱

I can cite few movie references

In Dolores Caliborne, Dolores was considered wrong by d society. Many thot she killed her hubby, but wn dy showed d back story... I felt she is one strong lady who went thru all dt n still kept on living. So Maya can be like Dolores.

Again i cite Dolores Caliborne. In d movie Selena, her daughter lived 15yrs considering her mother to hv killed her father n dt she is a bad woman. She repressed her memories to d facts. So there can be something similar.

Then there is bereavement, where in front of a kid a deranged man keeps killing ppl for no reason n by d end of movie, coz of d constant watching of d brutality even d kid becomes like dt man. So, may be watching Ashwin, Maya has also become like him.

Nope, not at all. Had that been anywhere remotely close to what must have transpired in her past, Saanjh would know. It would show up somewhere in her legal records.
