I've kind of owned the pregnancy - Kareena Kapoor Khan on her maternity status!

Kareena Kapoor Khan ended the year on a high note by featuring on the cover of Grazia magazine's December issue. Right through her pregnancy, Bebo opted for a bold step and went all and about flaunting her baby bump at several occasions. Be it walking the ramp for a fashion week finale or doing severalphotoshoots and stepping out in high-end fashion outfits, Kareena glorified motherhood in every possible sense.

In an interview with Grazia, Kareena opened up her current maternity phase and how her peers reacted to her active lifestyle during these months. The heavily pregnant Bebo quoted, "I believe there's a lot of respect and understanding between me and my family, the media, industry friends or even the audience, because I've kind of owned the pregnancy."

We couldn't agree more with the actress. Embracing the process of motherhood and that too in the film industry being and A-lister actress, let's say Kareena dared to break the rules and succeed hands down!

How do you "own the pregnancy"?

Isn't that already with you since you got pregnant.

So many of working mom's work thru the last few days/weeks of their pregnancy, what is so different about her.

What ever events she is attending , she is getting paid for those so why would she refuse.

Just because , one gets pregnant, life still moves on and you work till you deliver or your doctor advises you to stay in bed.

I think Smita Patil worked while pregnant and when she passed away, Rekha dubbed for her last movie.

Kareena is just dressing up and showing her pretty decked up face , what's so special about it.

This lady gets on my nerves.

How do you even disown the pregnancy?
Its good that she remained active throughout her pregnancy, but I would have respected her more if she didn't use it so much as a PR tactic. You can share your feelings once or twice, but to make it sound like its so revolutionary and unheard of is so ott.

I do wanna ask, if what Kareena's done is so easy and normal and nothing worth talking about, why haven't the last A Lister actresses done it?

Surely, it's easy right?
The question is simple. Why is Kareena being talked about so much: if it was normal and common, she wouldn't be. Others haven't done it. Be it simple, she's kinda the first im the A lister brigade to do this. Glam up pregnancy.

And yeah all she's doing is dolling up and doing photoshoots, but so what? That's her profession. So her doing this IS continuing her profession.

If compared to the average Indian women who work all till the last trimester her so called work is nothing!
But I am not surprised they live in a bollywood bubble.. she is only comparing to the last few married actresses like Ash Kajol etc.. who might have not owned their pregnancy like her.. 😆
All said I hope she delivers a healthy baby soon
