And that's precisely I was criticizing the story line pointing out that the shows can't show a chauvinist, insensitive male lead, a single mother rapidly crossing limits of decent and acceptable behaviour and a long-suffering female lead with off and on personality switch in the guise of reality.If you show someone committing crime on screen as reality, you will have to show their punishment as consequences.
If you show someone behaving rudely to a women as reality, you'll have to show them being put into their place as well.
That was the reason why I was not being able to relate to the show because this is showing reality in an irresponsible way. It's almost like showing a movie where wrong things are happening and people are not being punished for them. What message does it send to the audience?
