Finally read this OS. Had to hunt it down as I didn't remember it's tilte.
Jhil you never disappoint me. You always prove me right that your stories are so unique and so heart touching that it makes one emotional.
Aarti had such a troubled life. She wanted a father and got one, who turned out to be the biggest leech that he didn't think twice before atracking an innocent teenage girl. (Reminded me of my OS Khamoshiyaan, but then that's totally different story).
Aarti was strong enough to fight him and ran from there. She was meant to find a real mother this time. She met Shobha Ma, who took her in as her daughter.
You are so right that sometimes, some girls are treated like dirt. Poor Palak was left in a dumpster to be fed to wild animals 😵, it would have been better if they had left her in an orphanage. But then we don't know what kind of a future she had got there. Yes such is fate of some girls.
But here Palak also got an mother, an grandma and finally a loving and doting father.
Yash too was an orphan. Got his heart broken when his lady love left him, Aarti walked in his life like a breath of fresh air. He too got s family that he never had and always craved for. I can understand why Aarti was scared to trust him with Palak.
His aloofness is what made her realize her true feelings and she confided in him and poured her heart out in front of him. She saw true love in his eyes and finally accepted him and his love. Loved the way she proposed to him.
What I loved the most in this OS is that Shobha, Aarti, Palak and Yash, all were broken, alone in life. Fate is what brought them all together and they became one happy family, that they all craved for.
Another masterpiece from you Jhil ⭐️
