Actually I feel all dialogues of Maya are quite ironic. She wants to move on. She tells she has 2 parts. One professional. One at home. She doesnt want to mix both.
But isnt she doing that. She tells at office everyone fears her. At home her mom fears her. She keeps everyone in a tight leash.
Her mother tried to break free, she showed her, her place. Maya will go any extend to control

Coming to night is gone. A woman who is keeping the night 15 years back still in her mind and the thought itself chills her is telling this. The night has never gone for Maya. It exists.

It is to seen when that night will go and a new dawn will come for her.

@Misti that is what I love about Maya. Once she gets what she wants, she plainly dismisses any sympathy. It was the same with that security in hotel whose hand she catches seeing her father.
Maya is a complex character who wants to control and will go any extend to control.

@Gayatri if she accepts the fear it will be easy to correct. Problem is she is not accepting it 😃, that's what making it difficult.

Shruthi the fear Ashwin evokes in Maya is un nerving. The reason Maya wants to be a control freak...the mask she wears to conceal the vulnerable self is emerging with every act of hers.
