We have witnessed how actors when they get international fame and recognition, their accent tends to change almost overnight. Its strange how a persons way of speaking changes so quickly.

Some develop the International accent, some merely fake it. But one actress has decided not let global fame destroy her neutral accent. She is non other than the even smiling Deepika Padukone.

If you have watched the trailer of Deepika's Hollywood film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, you will realize she has maintained her natural accent and hasn't anglicized her way of speaking, just because its a Hollywood flick. Way to go girl!

This movie is going to get slammed by western critics & audience. Just wait & watch.

I remember watching the trailer before Suicide Squad came on and after the trailer ended this African American dude with a mouth-full of popcorn went "YOOO! 🤬 this shit" and he threw up 2 middle fingers 😆

Deepika didn't changed the accent bcoz she's playing an Asian girl in the movie...if we compare it with Priyanka, Irrfan or Aishwarya then they have played American or NRI characters in Hollywood movies that's why they had american accent, so all are doing their roles according to script.
