Oh what a war

It just captivated us!

It seems CN team has taken complete lease of Rajat.Evey where RAJAT! He enthralls us by his fighting movements.He is tirelessly spontaneous and has an easy flow

Why has the cold and calculating Chanakya waged war against Magadh so early?

Is the strategy due to lack of sense or judgement?Is it stupidity to fight with the formidable Magadh with a handful of goons and soldiers?He has achieved nothing expect propelling Chandra to the edge of death.

BUT

he has his own reasons which will be known shortly.We know he has an expert spy system, where he used even ladies as kanikas(courtesans) .One such lady has come to woo Padmananda (sorry, she is his first wife).

We are little bit embarassed to see women sent by Nandini in the battle field

Embarrassment 😲 y , it was really a tactical move, she was cool and calculative during the war unlike Chandra she wanted to slow down Chandra until she gets any other idea to turn the tables, even she succeeded by her naari Sena

Infact it was a miscalculated act of chanakya and cgm which turned out to be massive failure , not once but many times, there is a story that chanakya heard a woman talking to her grandson , she asked him to eat the rotti from the corner than eating the middle part and also she asked not to behave like cgm as he attacked magadh directly before capturing its border

After hearing this, cgm and chanakya captured the borders of magadh and waged war against nandh , it took appx 9-10 yrs for CGM to overthrow nandh dynasty

lovely explanation..eating rotti from the middle...this holds not only for CGM and Chanakya but for all of us in our daily cores..yes..we ought to think about the surrounding situation and have to be careful about the starting point

Rajat Tokas is at his best.No one can perform so well as Samrat !!

War scenes were so real and appealing and makers bank on him rather than graphics to show an amazing war fights ..Love his aggressivenes..Love you rajat

Yes the charismatic Rajat Tokas excels in war as well as romantic scenes.He is a rare phenomenon in Indian TV history.

He should be blessed by The Almighty to go Big screen

War scene was portrait so beautifully... Early war... I feel Chancy was tasting the water... Before war he knew the outcome of it. Seems like he wanted this defeat to make Chandra more stronger. Finally last two episode really was upto the mark. Either it was Chankaya and Chandra scene before the war or it was dhundera and Chandra scene... It captured the essence of the beautiful relation cvs tried to display. And speech before the war was unspeakable, Rajat completely took over and blinded us. At last I have started to look forward to next episode. May be Helena's disappearance from last two episode did magic on the show. I am looking forward for more... and thankful that Chandra lost the war... we will get to see more struggle from Chandra side...

Correctly pointed..the most powerful strategist would not have done such a rash venture...unless he wanted to test the water..to have the perception of the situation(the flags)..yes the upcoming war sequence .. will be very very enthralling...and Helena is reserved for Malayaketu as Sikandi for Bhishmar

I agree Siva... There must be some strategy behind this war... or may be he is checking the strength of not only Chadra but Nand as well. And I love how practical Chankya is... No emotion touches that man... At one point Chandra was not ready to give up but eventually he agreed... I wish Nand didn't hear chankya and Chandra's conversation... It feel like they exposed their secret in front of the enemy. But Chankya had not choice left when his shishya Chandra... didn't obey his instruction...

Helena is perfect for Malayketu... Somehow I didn't like how CVS has portrait her character... Obsessive and over confident. I hated when she cried in front of Malayketu... One side she fought with tiger bravely (was a poorly portrait scene though) and other side when daket kidnapped her she acted like poor bechari... she didn't tried to fight instead you don't know me and stupidity... They have confused her personality... And when Chadra praise Helena I really felt that too much too soon... Their bonding happened too quickly... but any way let's hope for better... really nice post Siva. Siva did you watch Jodha Akbar?
