Karan Johar is thrilled with the response he has been receiving for his movie. However, the controversies surrounding Ae Dil Hai Mushkil refuse to die down. The most recent one being the Mohammad Rafi comment in the movie, which has offended the late singer's family and fans.
Recently, when Sonu Nigam was asked about this issue, he had said, "I do not wish to comment on the issue but the person who made the movie should consider if he is OK making fun of his own father in the same way. Nigam said that if people are OK laughing at their own fathers in the same way, then they could go ahead and make fun of legends."
When Vidhu Vinod Chopra was asked about this, he said, "I have not seen the movie and I have no plans to. I am not interested in watching it anytime." He then went on to praise the film Ventilator, which he had just watched. He said, "I just watched this movie and if you watch it, you will forget about all other movies and their controversies. This is good cinema."
Well, it seems KJO could not take any more of his colleagues mean remarks as he wrote, "Filmmakers making irresponsible remarks at events..singers revelling in self importance...press releases sent to mask insecurities! Ufff..."
