If I may interject 😊 😉
I am inclined to think, this portrayal of the sisters dancing at a wedding reception, is Swaragini CVs way of showing symmetry/ consistency across 1 year intervals. 😆😲
If you recall, there was this sequence around last year's Durga Puja/ Dussehra festivities, where SwaRagini danced at the baadi (despite one sis being exposed as a conniving schemer who'd attempted murder, and being disowned by her husband and in laws; and the other sister being in the beginning stages of getting a divorce from her 'best friend', who'd soulfully admitted that he loved her and always would).
This was the dance sequence before Ragini's electric shock suicide attempt, and faux memory loss track. 😊😉
How could I forget that scene - Swara slips, Laksh breaks her fall but then is it Sunny boy who actually catches her (he was absolutely despite that horrendous gold sherwani he wore. On a side note and digressing a bit, I think the dress designers for Sunny boy seem to be on a mission to find one colour or one shade in which he does not look good - the shades are an eyesore and yet cannot dim his aura - when will they learn😡😡😡 )
So you see...dancing with joy when they would be expected to be solemn and dejected, is the sisters' forte. 😉 I think the CVs feel that "Suron se saji hain Swara, Raagon se rachi hain Ragini" might be modified to dance also. Multi tasking you see. 😉
I guess you are right - As Friedrich Nietzche said " And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music". That is precisely what we are, we cannot or do not want to hear the music (AKA the SwaRagini song) so we think the sisters are crazy to be dancing.
Anyway it's not as if the music theme is being explored in the serial at all...Sargam Music Foundation seems to have entered a galactic black hole someplace. I thought the sisters wanted to start their own music school once...they could have managed Sargam effectively no? 🤔
That logic is non existent - I agree that the sisters have to do something and the track needs a fresh story, but the music school would be so suitable, much better than the ridiculous Marriage Bureau (what are they going to do, also bring in stories as to how the sisters work their magic when they have prospective couples meet?)
This has become SwaRagini meets Band Baaja Baraat. 😉 Anyway...I'm not complaining too much, I am eager to see how the intense love-hate track between SwaSan plays out. VK just killed it in yesterday's episode. What a masterclass of a performance. It was breathtaking. 👏
SwaRagini meets Band Baaja Baraat - I wish, (though a part of me says, "band toh ab hamari bajne waali hai") but seeing the track record of the CVs, I am keeping my hopes low and fingers crossed - I hope they can keep the intensity and not let it fizzle out after a few episodes (sometimes when I read as to how the track progresses, I am convinced that the CVs never have the draft story in place, they just shoot the episodes as they go along😉)
Lots of Love
