Rajat is brilliant at whatever he does!! i am his fan. But i feel there is spark missing in chandra nandini serial. I feel whole set is classless. i felt worst when nand was being cruel towards chandra"s mother-- there was tandav playing on the back !! I just hated it. why would they play lord shiva tandav mantra when they show cruelty on women??Ekta must must must stay away from historic series. she doesnt know how to execute them. There is always a complete lack of dignity when she make something like this. she turned mahabharat into something else. then she turned akbar into a puppet in the hands of his own haram !! to show jodha supreme power she did everything she ever could,, With jai kali, jai kali, jai kali mantra playing in the back !! i wonder why >???? ektas series have always been calssless anyone !! why would this one be any different!!

I was very much in love with the first episodes of JA. I think it was brilliant. Till he crazily fell in love with her. In CN I am not even liking the beginning. The show is not as good as I thought it will be.

I can one hope that they will not convert from Chandra Gupta the warrior in to Chandra Gupta the devdaas

I have seen quiet a few historicals especially of Rajat

The first month holds a key to tie viewer for repeated viewing

PRC - was brilliant from the second week as Prithvi goes to gurukul. It was a long time very few serials had shown gurukul theme in detail and actors were very good and the palaces looked authentic and viewer was hooked. The elder PRC looked out of place although his nemisis ghori was brilliant and hence the viewers lost interest. Rajath and Mugdha and their friends all had unique characters and viweers were hooked as it was a weekend show

Dharam Veer - story was good initially of two brothers who were not real brothers but tied by soul. Vikrant and Rajat played the part and we felt they were real brothers. But after few months the story went kaput

Jodha Akbar- Cast was good story was good for 6-7 months then story became illogical unbelievable and anarkali track simply lost interest in show despite rajath paridhi

Now we come to Chandra Nandini

- Promotions were lacking build up, many do not even know there is a show chandra nandini (non internet and non rajath fans who make majority viewers)

- The sets somehow lack the feel, a PRC, DV or JA set looked fit for that era. This set looks fit for a mahabharat times like a huge witch castle, it looks like a fantasy

- Rajath and Padmanandh are brilliants, Shwetha is good but not so great as a princess, the rest are ok, nandhini family of bhabhis etc are major put off and irritating to say least, chandras friends are not so good too(no screne presence like PRC, DV friends)

- Chandra nandini story is a big put off because it looks copied from bahubhali, mahabharat, ramayan(mora as sita and padmanand as ravana). Now almost everyone knows chandragupta mauray as we are taught in school and have seen other serials on him and suddenly this story does not feel authentic or sets real. Lets see if in future it picks up. Rajta may be good but somehow i do not feel for chandra(neither do audience) because his childhood was very abrupt, no time given to like chandra for audience

Do not forget chandra nandini has competition in udaan - with chakor as a stiff competition, its a very good show and people are tied to chakor emotionally in a way they are not tied to chandra or nandhini

Only if chandra nandini story is excellent than udaan viewer will shift to chandra nandini

No actor in this world whether rajat or AB or al pacino or leonardo can make a success if story is bad or not better than competitor show or movie

@Blue: EXACTLY!! Till now I only see Rajat who's giving his best and like Arpit also but sometimes the scenes look incomplete.. No proper dialogues.. Even BGM is not so good.😕

@bold - that's true mainly coz Ekta decided to make a fictional account and then used real names for it. I think this is one of the main reasons why it's drawing so much flak - as people tend to compare it with the real story. It would have been so much better if she had just named the characters different too.

Rajat is the main driving force of the serial. I am sure, max of the viewers are his fans. But I am still liking it (if I don't take into account the historical inaccuracies).

Wowww you said absolutely correct buddy.
I said same words for jodha Akbar and now I also want to say same words for Chandra nandani.
U can't show any thing on name of love story or on name of any famous actor or actress.

Without good story even SRK can't sale his films 🤣
