Beautiful post. Ishwari is competing so it will be a disappointment otherwise it should be an excitement for her too. As a parent Ishwari needs to understand that when she restricts her children ( Sona included) with too many house rules then out of suffocation they will resort to lies. She is a role model, a mother figure for Sona, and she was the one who set an example of lying to Dadi bua about her cooking on the 2nd day of wedding. If she thinks it was a white lie and it did not harm anyone then what Sona told her yesterday was also the same - a lie which was a surprise getaway for her husband, and it should not be hurting anyone's feelings. It's up to Ishwari to decide if she wants to make it a big issue and create a drama or let it go. We know what she is going to do 😉
