Are there really some tensions in the Bachchan family over ADHM?

Or do you think AB Sr is avoiding saying anything on Aish's bold avatar as it might lead to unnecessary controversies in the media?

a part of me says this new bold avatar of aishwarya is great but then the other part of me feels that she tried serious acting in Jazba, sarabjit n thats didn't work...so her beauty n looks is what she always has to fall back on in the end...

Not really, she had tried serious acting in Provoked, Guru, Chokher Bali, Raincoat, HDDCS etc and it did work big time. So no, she doesn't have to fall back on her beauty and looks.. she always does a mix of cinema.. Dhoom 2 with Guru, Robot with Guzaarish/Raavanan, now ADHM with Sarbjit.

As for the beauty part, every single actress is in the business because they're beautiful. If beauty was not to be considered the likes of Konkona, Tabu would be top stars and not the actual top actresses we have today.

I am pretty sure this bold avataar of Ash is not a surprise for the family.She would have discussed or told them what she is doing.So they pretty much know what the move is about.

Regarding them not talking about it, its to avoid all kinds of unnecessary questions.I mean this is till India and we know what kind of questions media will ask them and they don't want it to be uncomfortable .

Infact personally my respect for Amitabh and Jaya has increased that they are progressive enough to understand this is just professional work and have not interfered in it.How many Indian families would let their daughter in laws act in movies after being a mother let alone play a bold and passionate romantic role.But they have.I think its highly progressive and a good example.

they had a problem with her kissing Hrithik in Dhoom 2, so this was before marriage, so i dont believe they have no issues at all...

what i think is that maybe Aish isnt that relenting, that much anymore and it does makes sense since her husband's career has failed to take off , so its on her to keep the career boat floating.

I am sure they financially quite well-off. But someone in the family needs to earn to maintain their life style.

Prrsonally, I applaud her for taking decisions for her own career, Bachchan family not withstanding.

Before marriage is different they may or may not have known.

But after marriage like all couples and families discuss things , i am sure she would have discussed with her family what is required from her in this movie.I am sure its not like she didn't tell them anything at all and shoot the bold scenes without their knowledge.Now whether they had issues and made peace with it or they fully supported Ash is something we won't know.

But what we do know is after the release of the trailer and songs they haven't said anything much positive or negative.They have accepted things the way they are because they already knew about it.But how many Indian families would actually do this?We are in a country where daughter in laws are not even allowed to work.But here she is working that to after being a mother in passionately romantic role.Yet they have accepted it(with or without issues).How many would actually do this.So it is progressive.

I am not saying they may not have any issues.They may have yet they have accepted this as part of her work which i think is great.
